I went full glam for my wedding last year and I loved it! It looked awesome in pics. So glad I went with what I wanted instead of listening to those who said I should do a natural look. I'm never natural so that's not me. I don't regret doing what I wanted.
Michelle Rhodes I didn't do a natural look either I think the more smokey dark browns work better cause of all the lights and flash photography. All the natural makeup will wash away when the flash goes on
Hi Casey. I hope you are okay if I give you some makeup advice for you wedding day. I am a makeup artist who mainly does weddings so my advice is from experience. 1. Don't wear strip lashes. I see this a lot. You will cry. You will dab your eyes. It is a long day. By dinner time you lashes will start to lift. It is such a pain in the ass to try to glue those corners back down. Also, if you lose one it will lift the liner off underneath and you will have that dreaded flesh tone line about your lashes. Use individuals instead. Kiss makes a great product of 3 bundles of individuals. It makes application go faster. I use a few of those and them fill in individuals from there. 2. Use a stain on your lips instead of lipstick. You will be kissing you husband all night long and stains do not transfer onto him. 3. Tell your bridesmaids to wear the clear gel deodorant. Yes it sucks in comparison to other types, but there will not be deodorant marks on their dresses. You photographer will thank you as there will be less to edit. For you, your dress is white. Use the good deodorant 😂😂. Lastly, this is the happiest day of your life. You are marrying the man of your dreams. Nothing else matters. The morning of your wedding let all the planing and stress go and just enjoy the day. If your flowers suck, if your cake gets knocked over, if the best man gets too drunk. Let it go. (Btw I have seen all these things happen. The flower example was from my wedding.) No day is perfect. Something will happen. If you go into it with a carefree happy attitude and decide ahead of time nothing can bother you. Nothing can touch your joy, you will indeed have the happiest day of your life. I am so excited to see your wedding vlog. You will make a beautiful bride.

julie arowcavage it is a GREAAAT foundation, I started using it per her recommendations, it's her all time favorite, it stays put all day, all night, no transfer, no cake face, doesn't move, it's great. It does allow the normal oils of your face go through BUT, since it doesn't transfer, you can just help it with rice sheets and it will just go away and you will be left with your flawless face. It kind of dries down like paint, it will just NOT MOVE EVER. I think it has 15SPF so it does have a veeery clear white cast on pictures. Like you can see what you dragged down to your neck onto white stripes on pictures. A looot of flash back. With no flash it does really good pics, but, a lot of flash back.

It is specifically made to be used on people who are constantly being photographed and on film, so it might be something you want to try. But girrlll, this look is FIERCE! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

I commented on one of Estee Lauder's pictures to create a double wear foundation with no flashback and they had replied saying that they found that their foundation no longer has flashback... maybe they re-formulated? I know its price went up and their description changed from 15 hour wear to 24 hour wear so... that could mean something!

my cousin loves wearing bold lipsticks or at least a vibrant coloured lipstick bcs it suits her best. but for her wedding her make up artist suggested a cool toned nude for her and she hesitated at first but went with it bcs it suits the "bridal theme" . but she looks so dead and she just wasnt feeling it (i wasnt feeling it too but i thought she loved it so i just kept quiet) and she did not look popping at all until that evening for her touch up she requested to change lip colour and she felt so much more confident and everyone was saying she looks 10× more POPPING than she was earlier. And I suggest no spray tan because that shit stains dresses. I used the loving tan the day of my wedding and omg worst stains ever

Right now I am using a Cover FX powder over my DW, but I am so oily. :( Do you know of any really good matte ones?
estee lauder has the matte oil control pressed powder, try it! if you want something cheaper then wet n wilds translucent loose powder works good too!

Hi Casey! I commented on one of Estee Lauder's pictures to create a double wear foundation with no flashback and they had replied saying that they found that their foundation no longer has flashback... maybe they re-formulated? I know its price went up and their description changed from 15 hour wear to 24 hour wear so... that could mean something!
I wore it for my wedding and didn't get flashback
Agreed I've never had a problem with it with flashback in the past year or so that I've worn it. Possible reformulation.

my cousin loves wearing bold lipsticks or at least a vibrant coloured lipstick bcs it suits her best. but for her wedding her make up artist suggested a cool toned nude for her and she hesitated at first but went with it bcs it suits the "bridal theme" . but she looks so dead and she just wasnt feeling it (i wasnt feeling it too but i thought she loved it so i just kept quiet) and she did not look popping at all until that evening for her touch up she requested to change lip colour and she felt so much more confident and everyone was saying she looks 10× more POPPING than she was earlier. SO CONCLUSION IS, THERE IS NO ONE LOOK FOR BRIDAL MAKE UP WHEN THERES LIKE MILLIONS TYPE OF DIFFRENT PEOPLE W DIFFRENT SKIN TYPE AND PREFERENCES SO LET THE HOMEGIRL DO WHATEVER SHE WANTS FOR HER DAY
