Hey doll! I absolutely love your new intro, your wavy hair and that you’re starting weekly vlogs!! I actually also love your living room and think it’s really cozy and cute. I think a coffee table with gold legs would be cute and also those big candle sticks would’ve looked nice maybe one on the tv stand & one on the ground next to it, or maybe that way with lanterns? Either way I do love your living room situation. Hope this helps, wishing you all the best!

You should turn sofa 90 degrees so it faces the fireplace, put tv where cat scratcher is. So as you walk into the room you will walk to the right to go around to front of sofa. Try this it might work. Also you could get a basket with logs in to put in fireplace next to fire, then other side of fire place a large latern maybe. You could also put a large clock face above fireplace, maybe some fairy light along mantelpiece. Hope this helps 😊

We have wooden worktops and you have to buy a special paint or hire someone to paint them with a protective seal, as water can rot them etc x

I love the intro, it seems really sensual 😂 love the 2 lamps as well, they look nice near the TV. That sofa seems to be too big for the living, also you definitely need a coffee table there. I didn't know that you are good friend with Laura. I saw her cleaning videos in the past, so I think that it was a suggestion after watching your videos. Gemma, I work in kitchen design so for the solid wood worktops you oil them every 6 months to maintain them. You can get wood worktop oil from places like B&Q, wickes etc and its usually not too expensive either

I’m not sure if it would work, but have you tried the sofa facing the fireplace? So as you walk in the room the back of the sofa is facing you? You would have to have it well away from the wall and door of course so the room may not be wide enough...but if it works it would be quite cosy! Then the tv (again if it fits) could go where the cat scratcher currently is? The back wall behind the sofa then you could just have a side table with a lamp to the right as you walk in the door xx

Hi Gemma, your new home is so nice you should be proud you have very nice taste with decorating. Question have you tried to put it on the side you want it on and pull it out from the door far enough that you could add a small sofa table behind it so the table would not pass the door and that would open up the space for getting around the sofa. That way you could really enjoy your fireplace and with fall almost here how cozy would that be. Love your channel you give me a good laugh 🥰🤪😂
I get those spots too, they are sooo painful. If you make a mixture of Manuka honey and some cinnamon it really soothes them and takes the redness out. You have to do it for a couple of days because it obviously doesn’t cure the spot. But it helps 💕
Love the flower lights Gemma . I think when you get the coffee table you can put the lanterns there. But I think you should put a set of silver lanterns and a set of gold lanterns (any silver and gold decor ). Mixing silver and gold looks beautiful . My living room has silver and gold decor and I get lots of compliments.😘👍📷

Your a absolute Doll Gemma !!! Loving your new hair style 🤩 👱♀️ You should do a video on how you did it.
Don't use the polish on your counter tops. Use coconut oil or buy an oil that is for chopping boards and rub it in. Your counters shouldn"t really need anything but if they are dry and rough the oil should fix them. I use an oil on my chopping boards once a week. What if you move your sofa to the other side under the window? And put your tv in the corner where the cat tree is. If the sofa fits I think it will look quite cosy especially in the winter with the fire lit.

For treating wood / oak one good way is using beeswax and putting it on with a damp or dry cloth in the direction of how the wood is eg the wood goes side to side you will rub the beeswax from side to side😁 hope this helps gem❤️xxx

Definitely put the candle stands in your fireplace in the corner by the actual fire. The foot stool thing that’s by your couches, put it under your window, then you have space for a coffee table. And where the cat scratcher is, get a nice table with a large mirror on top and maybe a lamp or two?

Actually love your house! Its so cottagey and homey but modern! I love an inglenook fireplace! Reminds me of my childhood home. 💗 Think the L sofa looks a little big for the room but it definitely doesn't look bad! A free standing lamp would look nice where the cat scratcher is. Big rug might look nice! Also try searching small cottage living rooms on pinterest for inspo! ❤ X

I loved this Vlog so much!!!! The opening is just stunning!!!! You did an amazing job :) I love the warm glow of the flower lights in the vase in your room. I do that too especially in the bedroom. It changes the vibe and makes it softer and relaxing. Tell Soph that she can get the salt and pepper shakers cheap on Amazon. They come in packs of 6 and 12 and 24 for pairing up. I love to use them for meals in bed or super fun for place settings for dinner parties and big family dinners. Wishing you both a fabulous week :)

Love your house and the creams etc...and the pretty rose gold added so keep that up! I really feel all that grey in the other house gave me depressed feelings when following around. I’m soooo sorry Laura. There was no cheerful color of contrast. I can understand a bathroom for instance but all grey everywhere is too industrial and gives me medicinal vibe like a hospital.

I like your new ambient lighting in your bedroom with the flowers. I like the shape and colour of your base their in but it’s too small. A larger vase would make a bigger statement and also help to hide the electrical outlet and plug. Love and hugs doll 🍀👍
I get reallllly sore under the skin spots but Mario badescu does something called a buffering lotion and you massage it into the spots and I swear they disappear overnight I love it

Why can’t you still put the sofa on the other side just don’t put it against the wall (to where it blocks the doorway)? You’ll have like dead space, but you can put a sofa table behind the sofa.🤷🏻♀️ Just a thought if you haven’t tried it already.
