Exploring abandoned places is one of my favorite forms of treasure hunting. I would love to find an old farm dump dating back to the 1800s. Thanks for taking us on another adventure.

You're not the river garbage man but you are the critter protector. That's two thumbs up ! One for the video and one for your little buddies.

    Hi Beau,
Families once loved, laughed, fought, worked and played there....
With all the equipment lying around you can almost picture the farmer dropping it off for next time as always at the end of the day and heading into the house to his wife and family.
    Or maybe that's just me?
    Peace
    Charlie 🇬🇧

I LOVED this one. You could write a story about this farmhouse. I’ve just watched you almost drown in the last video so this is quite a contrast. When you think how old the house is and how exposed it has been to the elements, and raccoons, it’s remarkably sound. I have learned a great deal from your videos, thankyou🙃🌸😊🌸

I fell through some steps in an old house in the woods when I was a kid. One foot went through and as soon as my butt hit I went on through. I fell into a closet that was under the steps. At first I wanted to climb back up because all I knew was to go back the way I cams, but I couldn't. I noticed the door and pushed it open. A table and chairs were against it. I was 12 ish and had my 10,22 with me. I didn't tell no one for a while. I was only scratched up.

Beau, You keep mentioning dead bodies , so I've got a good one for you. Here in Northern Cal, about forty years ago a relative of mine discovered an old abandoned mining cabin that looked suspended in time. The weirdest part of this discovery was that the place still had , meager as it was, pots, pans, dishes, some clothing, stove for heat and cooking, table and chairs with a fully dressed skeleton of a man and woman, sitting straight up in the kitchen chairs. Very Strange, as if they were in the middle of a conversation and took their last breath and stayed in that upright position. This image has been stuck in my head for a good many years, Now it can be stuck in yours. I like to share. : ) Figured you would enjoy this true story.

I am now 65 years old and when I was a boy, there were places all over my home state of Wisconsin much like this one but in the intervening years, abandoned houses and farms have largely disappeared from the landscape as people built modern homes all over our former farm country. Those that still stand are posted so access for exploring is just about nonexistent. Sad, as my grand kids will never experience exploring old places like I did. Time moves on.......
