You're welcome to your opinion. But I think Madara was a FAR more compelling villain with much more interesting abilities.

I can't deny that the plot twist was dramatic and game changing. But i don't think it was a good plot twist. Not at all.
They start with revealing that Naruto and Sasuke are reincarnations of the sage of six paths sons. This contradicts the whole message of the story. The story had a message of "if the underdog works hard enough they can overcome anything, they don't have to be born with natural talent". Even Nejis fight with Naruto in which Neji said "you don't become hokage just by trying, those who become Hokage are chosen by destiny". Well Naruto defeated Neji and seeked to prove him wrong, telling him that you can overcome destiny. But then it turns out Naruto WAS chosent by destiny and gets alot of what madr him special from being a reincarnation.
Then they take the mist badass villain in Naruto, hype him to oblivion for an epic final battle and then never even let us see him at full power. Instead they replace him with a difficult to relate to "god" with a boring personality, uninspired powers and little connection to anyone else in the story.
But what about the twist?
The twist was as shallow as a twist can get, *stab* "by the way, everything in this series, everything in the entirety of shinobi history, was all part of my plan to revive this boring villain". There was no foreshadowing, nothing. Zetsu just said "it was all my plan" and we are expected to believe that.
I don't think it deepened the plot. I think it undermined it and caused shinobi history to seem like the lame game of a Zetsu.
In short I hated the "twist" in every way.
