I'm the same way, I only had a Wolf Pac Sting (got it on clearance at KB) and I haven't watched wrestling since WCW got sucked into WWE (only the Firefly Funhouse Promos), but Matt and his cohort Brian's enthusiasm is riveting and I like the interaction with other wrestlers so I keep watching.
I also remember the thrill of the hunt from when I collected Star Wars figz.

Would love to see pictures of WWF in the toy aisles during the late 90’s early 2000s cause that’s when they were so packed and full, stuff was on the ground back then.
It’s crazy seeing the old orange toys r us on a package. Reminds me of the days where I got an actual gift certificate (before gift cards) to toys r us. Sad toys r us is gone because toys r us was able to have more than Walmart and target

The stone cold that were in clear bags. If you sent your cable bill to wwe when you bought a ppv they would send you a gift. I got all of them including stone cold with royal rumble shirt

There was 2 mail away stone cold. There was the Wrestlemania XV that you won if you pulled the little paper out and if it said wrestlemania XV you had to mail that with the UPC. The royal rumble one was when you mailed in you bill from rumble 99 and you either got the Austin and Vince or a royal rumble shirt

10:20 For years whenever I got into wrestling, all I wanted was a Steve Austin figurine. I can remember walking into K-Mart not even paying attention and came across one. I let out the biggest squeal ever seeing this figure. My mom came running around the corner thinking someone was trying to kidnap me. I got my ass busted BUT I did get a Steve Austin figure that day :).
I don't even like wrestling but I watch all these vids. And I'm super scared for this Minty Fresh Colection in Cardonas hands.
Dude I love that shirt. So rad, those were some of my favorite toys growing up. The bone crunchers and the Hasbros were my favorite toys growing up.

I got the Wrestlemania 15 Austin as a kid when we bought Attitude on the PS1. I'm also glad I wasn't the only one to use the old Stands as chairs.

So much nostalgia for me in this video as I had a bunch of these. I remember picking up the Dr Death on clearance for a couple of bucks and he was definitely a jobber figure for me. Great memories.

I remember when I worked at Value city in the toy department we got a buy out of bone crunchers, and the whole box was Dr Death
That WM Austin is the mail away that was in the jakks figs. My brother won one after getting a Billy Gunn fig at a wrestling event I took him to almost 20 years ago.

Damn, sorry to comment again but, that DR Death figure was a masive peg warmer in England too. I remember well in the late 90s/early 2000s, there were about 10-15 of him - and Al Snow - which nobody would ever buy from every store.
This took me way back. I remember winning one of those Austin’s out of an X-Pac by doing the same method you’re using. Was so stoked, especially since Pac was such a hard figure to find.

I had found a Talking titan tron and figures set at Kobeys Swapmeet a few weeks ago. Maybe if *wwe comes to san diego on a Friday or weekend* you guys should check out the swapmeet. Theres alot of gaming and toys.

The Steve Austin with the WrestleMania 15 shirt was a mail in. I still have mine in the bag. it was a WWF marketing thing for the PPV. If you ordered WM 15 and mailed in the receipt they mailed you the figure within something like 6-8 weeks

Thank you for sharing this great collection. I think that the reason for WWE not having the TV ratings because no JR and that it’s more writers controlling what the wrestlers must say and do. They should let the wrestlers have more freedom to just be unpredictable.

all this stuff is making me wish I had collected some of this back in the day, wouldnt collect wrestling but if I would get anything now it would be final fantasy figures or mario, marios classic and the ff games are my fav of all time those were sweet when I was in high school

Uh oh. This is making me want to start collecting BCAs. I donated all my old BCAs to Goodwill years ago. They were mostly beat up. I gotta fight it. I can't get into BCAs. I spend enough money on Mattels and Marvel Legends. Maybe I'll just take a peak on eBay and see what they're going for. Hopefully it's a lot. Price is my barrier.
