Pensare che Gianpaolo (il proprietario della TDF) su Instagram è sempre gentile, spiace che sia successa proprio a lui sta cosa. Però insomma, avrebbe dovuto aspettarselo, diciamo che se l'è cercata :)))
Ma una distrazione capita, non era quello il senso del mio commento. Tra l'altro ho visto il suo Instagram e mi sembra anche una persona abbastanza affabile
Si si, lui a mio parere è uno dei pochi NON buffoni arricchiti che circolano su Insta. Che week-end sfigato per lui, la TDF e poi la 488 Spider fresca di consegna già ammaccata per colpa del solito suv

That's why petrol and diesel fuels aren't so expensive like in Italy! You wouldn't believe but I was catching for a gas station yesterday, to put some 100 octane petrol in my turbocharged Punto Sport when I noticed the cost which was 1.92 €/L but some are also at 1.76 €/L and normal 95 is 1.60-65 €/L.

From an engineer point of view this situation is absolutely justified. New car is more likely to break down because it is new. This is described by a 'bathtub curve' (Weibull failure rate plot).

All new Ferrari's are sort of broken in at the factory during testing, If i'm not mistaken they even test them on the Fiorano Track before delivery.
Christian Ricciotti never had a brand new Ferrari so I don't know. Still normaly every car has to run in
you dont need to run in a ferrari, they do it at the factory
i dont think brakes and suspension need more thant 400km, but they also test the cars at fiorano so...
i understand your opinion, but if ferrari guarrantees that is not needed, there is no question.

Marco, è comunque anomala la cosa, se finisce la benzina, non deve andare in palla l'elettronica... Nei diesel bisogna spurgare la pompa in caso di esaurimento, nel benzina NO, sarebbe dovuta ripartire tranquillamente, aspetto una tua risposta :).
sono d' accordo con te. Una TDF con soli 400 km non dovrebbe presentare questi problemi... non costa mica quanto una seat no ? :')
Non penso che la TDF abbia l'elettronica e il motore di un auto normale è possibile che vada in recovery !
Gabriele Bellomo Questi motori a benzina hanno dei sistemi di iniezione del carburante che però certi versi sono molto simili a dei diesel. può anche essere che una volta senza benzina abbia bisogno di essere spurgata. e può essere che il motore girando male perché non c'era più benzina abbia mandato l'elettronica in protezione per evitare di fare di danni. spesso i sistemi di diagnostica si basano sui flussi in entrata e in uscita, se il sistema legge valori sballati può mandare tutto in protezione.

Borjapaco su molte vetture, anche normali, sul manuale ce scritto che, se si rimane a secco bisogna aggiungere almeno 5-10 litri ...
sulla mia prima macchina, una Classe A monovolume a benzina mi era successo, ho messo 1,5 litri (una bottiglia) di benzina, ma non è ripartita e si è accesa la spia di "avaria motore"...
questa è la mia ipotesi, altro non so

Odio dirlo perchè adoro le auto italiane ma un mio amico aveva una Ferrari f12 berlinetta bianca presa usata con 500 km e la usava spesso da farci 50000 km in poco piu di un anno e ne sono successe di tutte una volta si ruppe il cambio non so come possa essere successo , portato alla Ferrari ad Arezzo , per fotuna che era ancora in garanzia (36milaeuro di danno ) poi un' altra volta il motore è andato in avaria e si bloccava a 160 km/h ,vabbe la ho amata lo stesso haha , una volta ci ha staccato 343 km/h in autostrada alle 2 di notte ! Un saluto Marco debraia e spalanca ,Shnaus !!

I suspect that if you guys would have put more fuel in the car it would have started. The fuel pump needs something to suck on, if it ran completely dry - you may have needed a few gallons to get pressure back in the tank so the pump could pump the fuel back up to the injection system...
Joe Kerry usually this would not work as the fuel pump gets blocked by dirt from the fuel tank but since this is a brand new car it could work

When a car runs out of fuel, it fucks up. Its not as simple as just refuelling, thats why I am conscious when my car is low on fuel!
