This song got me connected to life at a really rough moment, just by its sheer beauty. It still hurts when I listen to it, but at the same time, it's a beautiful key tune i have to go back to once and again, because, in a twist of fate in reverse, I scaped doom and finally did not lose just everything.
What's so beautiful about this piece and many others of there's, it's not perfect. But its the imperfections that gives their music character which I think is missing in a lot of music lately. I am so happy I have found this group and genera, it's refreshing to me as a human.
I have been a fan sincce 2007/8 and I've heard this song a million times, but somehow I can't stop watching the end of this performance, with the harmonies.. It's kind of sad to watch knowing that at the moment Fleet Foxes are defunct...
all of subpop records is amazing (band of horses, fleet foxes, iron and wine, head and the heart...)!!!! these guys make, or artfully craft, rather, the most beautiful harmonies that the world has ever heard. so nicely layered.
Is there anything Morgan Henderson doesn't do for this band? I swear every time I watch a video of them in concert he's playing another different instrument. So awesome. Not to mention just how well this band plays together. Sublime and beyond description.
I don t know why but I love that song, The music, the voices, the lyrics...even though I don t understand them all but still love them all...does anybody know what they mean!?
Casey's face is brilliant when he's hitting the high notes XD haha, love fleet foxes a ridiculous amount, there by far the best modern band in the world today if you ask me :)
Why is the high pitch part of the harmony so loud in all these 'Haldern Pop' performances? I've watched tons and tons of their performances on youtube and it's very stood out like this. Usually the harmony is absolute perfection. Odd!
FF are definitely amazing regardless, and I can't wait to see what they come up with next! Who knows, they may reach (or dare I say, exceed... we shall see) Radiohead epicness someday.
you have me there, i am a massive massive radiohead fan as well, by modern i meant within the last 4/5 years, even though radiohead released albums since that as well... :L but anyway, both bands are beyond amazing!! :)
Radiohead better then Fleet Foxes or the other way around are both incorrect statements because of the fact that's all opinion based and that even though they are similar in the way of chill arts they are completely different and not totally comparable but somewhat comparable in some aspects. And their greatness cannot be measured in amounts of albums but the depth of their work. Both are amazing without a doubt but none better then the other end of argument now chill and listen.
Better than Radiohead? FF are definitely amazing, but they only have two albums out. Get back to me after their sixth or so, and then we'll talk. They definitely have that potential, and even after just two albums I consider them to be among the best.
Fleet Foxes at their peak, in my opinion, was this concert. A very, very humble performance but with the power of a thousand goddamn suns.

Papa John Crispy on them drums.
Soooooo good... Just so damn good. Vocals are of a sort we don't hear much today.... echoes of CSNY in their music and singing...
Love that song guys!
They are beyond quality itself, there is good music, there's bad music, and there's fleet foxes.
This is heavenly.Simply beautiful. The composition is simply outstanding!

I love them to but live they sound bad.
@@GuitarguyRichard56 Then you haven't seen them at Glastonbury live ...Perfect af
@@GuitarguyRichard56 Watch their Pitchfork 2018 set, the sound was incredible and Robin's voice was on point.
@@jamesmcnulty1936 I did. Very nice!!
I'd dance around a fire to this song. Love it
this band is truly timeless. fucking brilliant
you go wherever you go!!!
As good as anything ever written - I would like 1000 times if I could

Great news! Fleet foxes are almost done recording their new album~
omg the ending was godly.
Fleet Foxes yay i love this band

1 word: AWESOME. I love fleet foxes so much!
If this hadn't been played on BBC radio 2 when it was released I'd have missed out on three great albums
His vocal was so crazy
Love this.

I would love them to come to Brazil, although unfortunately they are unpopular here. I would sell my own clothing to watch them. : D
and heroes of harmony!
thanks man! great music. also heard Vetiver opening ffor the Foxes in Barcelona, loved it. the album tight knit is fckin great. cheers

Nice work.
agree to the fullest thetreesify!!! there's people like black keys, bon iver or band of horses, but nothing compares to these monsters of melody
Who needs drugs when you got these guys!?!?!?!
Is that J. Tillman on drums?
Yup, Father John Misty
Nope, that's a narcissistic asshole
oh wait.
(don't worry it's a joke.)
0 dislikes... damn skippy! they're wizards... wizards of the ear
vocals sound great on this performance. I don't listen to much modern music, FF being an exception.

So? Did they meet your expectations?

FATHER JOHN MISTY ON THE DRUMS!!!!
LMAO me too! i just smoked 2 bowls -- 1 to your comment and 1 to this dope-ass song!
i smoke bowls to this song
mac wood fllet
whats happened to the fleet foxes?? anyone know? they seem to have gone like underground :( :(
Is that Jonathan Wilson on bass?
ahh, i thought it was the drummer that left? but yeah, i really really hope they get back together, it's not been quite the same without them :(
Incredible song & band! Song sounds a bit like Crosby, Stills, Nash and young’s - Ohio
I would kill to see them live
Oh oh oh oh uh uhu uhu uh
Is the pitch raised on this or he just has a high voice than I thought?
No, Joshua (the drummer) left and 'became' Father John Misty

i think the CEO of subpop is most probably...god.
I think Sleepy Sun (Embrace + Fever) does a fine fucking job of meeting them at their level. :)
Yeah my mistake it was the drummer.
yes man, i agree, but then go ask robin to make you dance like the black keys do :)
" way of chill arts " hahahahaha
what's fake? Human beings and instruments? Are they holograms? Is it fake because you ate some psychedelics before viewing? =)
Lead singer left and made a solo album called fear fun as Father John Misty.
I really hope they get back together.
Fake?

Too fast
man there harmonies suck live. Total studio band, then they sound heavenly.
Richard M back then they were, check out their pitchfork festival performance from this year. Robin’s voice has gotten so much better.
I think is more the mix than the performance
