Bali is so tourist friendly that you no need to take tourist package. I feel it kills the fun as you don’t have a choice to choose what you want and always hectic as you need to stick to their schedule. I was there last year on our own without package. Going again this year in April!

It’s definitely worth going down that hill in Kelingking beach! It’s absolutely gorgeous down there. Especially in the early morning. Super peaceful with almost nobody there. Granted the climb down is challenging, be slow and wear some sneakers. You will fall in love with the place.

Bali is Hindu island because 1000 year ago it was ruled by the Great Raja Raja Cholan
Bali is not just for Hindus it's for every religion
Don't forget that it's part of a Muslim country
Correct the 80% Muslim part was also ruled by Raja chola but gradually all converted same like other places of the world it’s Bali culture that’s holding them tight

Nusa penida is a great place to stay for a couple of days to explore. Trek down those beaches to enjoy the silky sand beach ⛱️. Enjoy the cafe around. It's simply more stunning than the mainland.
ATV is one of its kind. Lafevela and cliff clubs in ulluvatu is the best places for parties.
Not to miss the jeep drive to Mt.Batur for a sunrise 🌄
Bali is beautiful and you just want to go back. One trip is simply not enough to fulfill your satisfaction.
I suggest you guys to visit Brazil once in a lifetime ..its the most beautiful and vibrant nation in the world.

Thousand Island Viewpoint is also quite spectacular btw! Probably better than the Diamond Beach.

We stayed here in sthala ubud too, but it wasn’t that great, room was stinking, interior worn out and the food they provide by the name of Indian foods are so bad, example: they give tawa fried pitta bread by the name of naan, LoL. And its 10 km from ubud centre. Trust me it’s a lot when you consider the traffic here. Not recommended guys.

You both have to have to go to the Amalfi Coast and various other places in Italy....no comparison...Capri etc., different vibe some of the beautiful views you wil see...but you have have to do it on yur own time, with a tour group... day by day when you want to do it...not everyday going on tours...spend some days exploring on your own..
