I don't like any other podcast, but Night Vale. Not only has it made me want to listen to more audiobooks, but it also helps me out when I'm having a bad mental day. I don't care how many times I listen to an episode, Night Vale is something I will listen to. I love Night Vale!

I love how I immediately cry out “Coca Cola!” whenever I hear “I took a walk on the cool sand dunes.” It is my favorite ‘word from our sponsors.’

@@SeptemberStranger28 My favorite word from the sponsors bit came from waaaay back in episode 2. The Coca Cola ads begin with “I took a walk on the cool sand dunes.”I actually memorized the original coke and the Taco Bell ads because I loved them so much. In episode 180 (which I recently heard as I was binging to catch up to attend the live show), they have a Coke Zero Cherry Vanilla word from the sponsors that begins with “I took a walk on the cool sand dunes.” I said to myself, “Didn’t they already do that?” So now I know that that intro means a coke flavored bit. :)

Absolutely insane and wonderful how much impact this podcast has had! It can feel like nobody cares anymore but everything from the queer representation from the very first episode to the narrative structure DEFINED the podcast genre!

I have been struggling for a long time with feeling like I don't belong anywhere, even in places where I shouldn't feel that way. That speech at the end, especially with the callback to Condos, hit really hard as a result. I wish I had some kind of certificate to tell me I belonged somewhere, because unlike Carlos I can't seem to feel it by myself.

Beautiful. I wasn't here from the start, but I was around when it really blew up around the first anniversary (for me, the summer between high school and college). I felt proud to be unraveling the story with the fans and tuning in every night to listen in and hear the narrative unfold in a unique way. There were narrative podcasts before, but Night Vale changed the game. And in attending the live shows, I got to be part of the story in a sense.
Whether you were an early adopter or a newcomer, this episode is a great delivery. Thank you so much Night Vale, for being the one guide and constant in my adult life.

I still remember my best friend getting into the car after I got her from work turning to me, and saying “you HAVE to listen to this!” My mouth dropped open, and then the weather came on. I was hooked.
I didn't think I would cry, but wow. I've been listening to this podcast my entire adult life. Nightvale has been with me through moving cross country, getting married, divorced, my first child, my first "real" job. Nightvale has been a backing track to everything; I'm just so glad it's lasted so long.
P.S. the woman from Italy is the only episode I won't repeat, too creepy!

I've only found this podcast a few months ago and I've been binging the entire thing for weeks now, whenever I could find the time. Feels kind of right that I caught up just in time for the anniversary. And I just have to say. Holy shit. Just. Wow.
This might be one of the greatest pieces of media I know. The world building is incredible, the attention to detail is insane and I love all of these characters so much. Amazing job, I wish you nothing but the best for the coming ten years.

I cannot fathom how awesome it must be that your writing creation becomes this huge. You folk are amazing at what you do and I really hope you all have gotten enough moneys and everything else off this podcast that you are happy. I am unbelievably happy I found this podcast (from a Malifaux FB-group,lol) because it's my life,my love and my saviour (was at some point in a very dark place and Night Vale saved me so no overexaggerating there).

I've only been here a few years. My sister listened to one and I joined her, and then months later remembered it and wanted to try it again. I listened to a few, got distracted. Another few months. More episodes. Sometimes I listened in huge binges. Sometimes I didn't get around to it for months. I'm only 8 episodes behind now, and I couldn't ask for a better friend alongside me this whole time. I don't even know how long it's been, but I think at least 3 years. It's been crazy. late to the party but so close to catching up. can't believe this show has been around so long, it's always such a huge comfort to me.
Been here since 2016- this was one of my very first podcasts, and one Relistening to WTNV helped me stay sane during the pandemic, and I have even fonder memories of my first listen through back before the world went crazy. Of every podcast I’ve listened to, this is most important of them all, to me. Thank /you/ for ten years, sincerely. It gives me hope to know that, even ten years later, WTNV is still going strong.

Nightvale!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember the first day I found this podcast. It was an accident it was terrifying and it was just what I needed. It's hard to explain but it helped me cope with many personal issues and this show has a special place in my heart for that.
