When you said how Rust was similar to real life, I felt that. That’s why I play, for even when Rust grinds me down, I can still start from scratch and relive again. Real life only gives you so many chances, playing gets me away from the pain of it. I loved your base design, I like to build a room at the front with a rocking chair, a cauldron and some old wallpaper. I forgot about the sofa, I’m going to have to make a bigger chill room now. You were so generous giving so much good loot to the player, if only more people were like this, and in real life too. I love your content, you stand out from every other creator, and I’m here for it. It’s my play style too. I hope your change brings good things for you. 🖤
this exactly. everyone that leaves the rust scene is only moving on in life, its a struggle for everyone. And much harder for certain folk to have a harder time than others. Reading your comment and hearing him say that right in the start of this video is true timing. I needed this. I play solo, and its very hard to even find people who are friendly anymore.
Aww, this is so sweet. Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment, @LadyDeath6666! It really means a lot. I love that you're connecting with the videos. I hope they reflect something positive because that's truly what I wish for and how I try to live my life. Of course, that's not always possible and can be incredibly difficult. But people like you make it worth every single moment-the hard times and the easy times. The countless hours of editing and exporting all boil down to creating something that can do some good out there. I wish the best for you, too. The fact that you connect with content like this speaks volumes. 🧡🙏
@@orangedreamer oh they totally do reflect positive for me. Your content is relaxed and appeals to my deep thinking. So thank you. I cannot imagine the amount of time that goes into editing these videos, how you get those 3rd person shots and add them in. It’s the reason I don’t make YT videos, I have no clue with this sort of stuff, I just twitch stream when I get free time. It seems that there are more of us that like to play relaxed wipes, like @LandyZ-08. I wish there was a chill server, not entirely pve, as I like to grub decayed bases, but some sort of hybrid inbetween. The pve ones have raid zones, but it’s not the same. Perhaps one where everyone is friendly, but if you don’t log in for a certain amount of days, it decays, then it’s fair game for exploring. That’s why I don’t play pve, I’m a dirty little grub who likes to play at the end of wipes and urbex explore the abandoned bases. 🖤
I love that, @LadyDeath6666! Since you're a streamer, I know you understand the time commitments involved in creating any type of content, whether it's streaming or making videos. It all requires time, which is the hardest asset to let go of. It sounds like there's a handful of Dreamers who would enjoy playing on a server built for chill vibes. I need to look into how difficult it would be to host a public server. I'm sure it's not too hard to pull off. I'll check it out and let you know! Maybe you'd give the server a try, along with @LandyZ-08. It could be a place for all of us to meet and chill in peace 🙏A place to watch the sunsets without toxic roof campers haha. 🧡🧡
Thank you SOOO much! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos and the editing. It's a lot of work, but when awesome people like you acknowledge the effort, it makes it so worth it. 🧡
Thx ! Filming/editing and creating or choosing music for a vibe is quite the task. I appreciate your talent and your Rust skills too. Loved watching this

This base design is kinda similar to one I have been working on for a while ... I have some interesting tricks however that can optimise this kind of build ... I should probably have a go at making a video about it.
@@orangedreamer It uses purely triangles, and a mixture of base level and high triangles - the great thing about high foundations is that molys are less effective against them. It's a solo focused base with multiple layouts, so you can't go from a build video to find the vulnerable point - the most obvious vulnerable point is actually the most hardened. I'm not good at videos, but I'd be happy to show it to you on a build server if you are interested.
☁puff puff, pass☁very good information in which I did not know. Another one. (for everyone seeing this) If the sleeping bag is blue while you place it, it means it isn't in the range of any other bag and will have its own timer.
weird thought (having only played the game for 1 hour but watching countless vids) what if the "honeycomb" was stronger than what it was protecting.. i.e; sheet metal honeycomb-stone core. if they make it to your core. your up shitz creek anyways. wouldn't it be cheaper?
its a bigger bummer for those raiding to go through 4+ stone walls being 4 rockets each unless they splash. But going through 4 stone walls than finding metal its much harder. and cheaper than upgrading all honeycomb to metal. this was a very good question, but you are sadly over thinking just a bit. also having all metal walls on the outside points to all raiders, im rich. they will think your entire base is metal with HQM core
Good thought @Noctrop! I like that you're thinking these ideas through. I think @LandyZ-08 is right. The main issue would be the fact that the sheet metal honeycomb would imply that the core layer is fully hqm which would scream "a lot of juicy loot inside". Your idea might work better on solo only servers because a solo might be discouraged by seeing this. But clans or zergs would make this a target. Good call out though! 🧡
Thank you! Yeah you're so right. I agree that the lights do bring attention to the base. I just can't go without them. I used to build bases without any windows but I LOVE having windows in my base now. It changes the vibe completely. Thanks for sharing! 🧡

Is it really? That's cool. It's a new one for me because I tend to avoid triangles unless I'm honeycombing. So that one was interesting haha

I would love to join an Orange Server.
I love this! Honestly, if enough people are interested in something like that, I'll make it happen 🧡
Fisrt like peeps
nice my friend.
Feels like a Willjum build at first
Interesting! It's been a long time since I've seen anything from Willjum. It's cool that he has something similar 😊
bump
your cadence, your tone; its as if you were made for this. down since, " day one'ish "
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you. You've been a day one 🧡

@kobrabushcraft536 Really? I didn't know that! That's good info. Thank you! 🧡

You want Peace and tranquility, but place your base in the middle of a Rust village ?
haha I honestly loved the location. I didn't want to build in an open area. The elevation made it very appealing to me. Thanks for watching! 🧡

Super chill, but all the lights are screaming "I have so much loot I can make all these lights". just sayin
