Everybody don’t sleep on this go ahead and make it now it takes time but practice makes perfect!
I made this cake for my daughters 12th birthday and it was soooooo good! It was moist, and the strawberry flavor shined through.. Thank you for sharing it put a smile on everyone's face. 😊
This is exactly the recipe for Strawberry Pound Cake I have been looking for. I am so very glad that I found your video. I really appreciate your recipe. Thank you so much! 😇🙏 Love it n cannot wait to make one myself. 🥰
Chef Fred, I was a little skeptical about this cake BUT I made it last week AND my family and I absolutely loved it. This cake is very moist and flavorful. This recipe will be added to my book of favorite desserts. I will be making it again and again. Your cake came out the pan perfectly, what is that yellow substance in your cake pan?
I am glad you enjoyed the cake. It is one of my favorites. The yellow stuff is baker’s joy. It is oil and flour in a spray can. You can get it in the store where the spray oils like Pam is. Happy baking.

Made this yesterday. I think I should have let the purée cool down before I added it to the mix. Also I had a rectangle glass tray so reduced temp to 325 n cooked for 65 min. Tastes good but the cake is really dense n the surface of the cake is hard. Not sure why, what did I do wrong?
Yes the purée needs to be cooled. In a rectangular dish the cake was probably not as thick as a Bundt pan so sounds like you may have cooked it to long. I would have done 350 as well. Hope this helps.
The size Bundt pan would be a 9 or 10 inch round. Yes, you could use regular round pan to make a layer cake. You would need to reduce the time in the oven though.
@@jdtorrence if you use salted butter just leave the salt out of the recipe. If you use unsalted butter than add the salt in the recipe. Hope that helps.
And if you see this please make us some more videos I see that you haven’t made anything in about a year please make something! I would love to see a new recipe
How long do you let this cake cool in the pan. It's a great recipe but I have tried to figure out the best length of time to let it cool so it doesn't get stuck or come apart. Anyone have any success?
Hi Kadence, You could use a blender. Or you can chop the strawberries very fine with a knife and scrape the juice and chopped berries into the pot. Hope this helps?
I totally need to make this! It’s awesome that you use fresh strawberries in the cake too!
I need to make this asap! I love a pound cake a strawberry one looks amazing

Nice effort, but I was looking for something more and less sugar. More natural flavor 😋 with no jello 😬 thank for letting me post comment. 👍
Enjoyed video where is the recipe please?
Can I use plain milk instead of buttermilk? 😮

Make sure to oil the pan the cake goes in or the cake will stick to the pan and have to be removed in clumps. I messed up the cake that way

@@cookingwithcheffred8705 thanks so much. I'm going to make this week
Another question, since its not strawberry season in my state, will the strawberries be bitter or do I need to use frozen?
@@prettybrownbrown3594 because you add sugar to make the strawberry syrup fresh will be fine to use.
