"Technically it is not possible to perform the Blood Eagle." ? The Blood Eagle is a real historic method of execution the Vikings did throughout the ages... Not only is it possible, but it was done a lot.
Ok i dont disagree because if you say it was used as a method of execution back in those days then ok it checks out from nordic legends and sagas even though they are just legends and sagas. BUT, we have to get the facts straight: 1) To kill someone in this way, you would have to do it extremely fast as ripping out lungs causes you to suffocate and drawing a blood eagle with an axe on your back would cause you to bleed out very quickly as it is a large are of you body 2) cutting through ribs even with an axe would be difficult as they are awfully solid. 3) Most people even in viking times would die of shock or before the ribs are even cut due to the massive pain the person is feeling. Just wanted to make that clear bro im just saying there are a lot of things that contradict this
Ave ceasar you are right! The vikings used this method! It was a chance for the victim to show his strenght and worthyness to enter valhalla! If the victim goes through it to the death without screaming he is worthy!
According to todays research it's most likely a myth made by christians to make viking sound like the ''animals'' that they were or a misunderstanding from a viking verse. Either way the person who it's performed to would pass out during the process. Not only from the pain and the increase of heart rate caused by that but also from the great loss of blood from the back. And theres a great chance of death when the chopping of ribs starts. That's when the person most likely would not be responding anymore.
This was just to show how big the army was. I think they are saving their money for bigger battles in the future. Although they didnt show us the full battle, i still love the way they made it, all those people fighting together to avenge ragnar.
He deserved that big of an army to avenge him but the scene after that... shit that was intense. Im just wondering if they made Elle tell them how he killed Ragnar with the smallest details
Well yeah Game of Thrones has a 10 milion dollar budget for every episode which in total gives 100min per season but it has good funding from HBO while Vikings being very comparable in a way they are both amazing shows doesnt really need that kind of budget or at least i think
yea for that battle of the bastards ep on G.O.T. I think they spent 30 million which is crazy but there my two fav. shows......and outlander on starz is killa too
Well i was replying at the beginning because i thought it was some friendly shitposting but then i realised he was serious and im not a 10 year old who will fight with someone other the internet becuase that someone called me a name hahaha
Ivar evil facial expression Staring a hole at Largetha At 9:52 He was like this Bit*h 😂😂😂lol Ivar-was like why can't we sacrifice this Bit*h instead, My Mom is dead and She walks around like nothing happened. At 9:52 😂Hehe!
Theres a reason why Ragnar died with a smile on his face. He knew he would get his payback. He knew what was about to be unleashed. He knew what was coming. Fury was coming. Destruction was coming. Hell was coming. They were coming. His sons were coming.................................the SONS of anarchy
Ave Caesar Ivar must told his brothers what Odin said to him, they just didn't show what Ivar said it to his brothers about King Aelle kills there Father.
Yep he is an Earl the Earl of Sweden I believe is what he said to Lagertha the first time he met her. I also admire that Earl too I mean getting stabbed by that big ass knife.......I know I couldn't endure that.
It's a big chariot for someone who is disable like Ivar who can't walk ding, ding why do you think Floki made its special for Ivar. He made the chariot big to may it stronger for Ivar legs to move around.
If the person is choosing to die, it has nothing to do with human rights. If it was forced, then it would be inhumane. I have absolutely no moral problem with people choosing to be sacrificed for their beliefs. Just because you dont believe it doesnt mean its wrong for others to do it. Other than that this reaction was top notch though :)
Im not trying to make assertions (sorry if it seemed that way). I was just commenting on things you said during the sacrifice scene. I wasnt addressing you, so much as those thoughts in general. Even if you dont believe that, lots of people do, so my point still stands.
Could you please react to a video called SPONGEBOB IMPRESSIONS ("The Very First Christmas") by Matthew Wojcinski? It's the best impressions I've seen:)
Technically it is not possible to perform a blood eagle? Are you serious? It is possible. You cut the skin on the back then with an axe you cut the bones off the spine and separate the bone from the body, after that you take out the lungs and let them rest on the shoulders of the victim to make them look like wings. The blood eagle was performed according to sagas, the validity of them we will never know but it is 100% possible you are not a doctor so do not come and say it is not possible. If the victim screamed he would not enter Valhalla but if he suffered and died in silence he would be allowed to enter Valhalla. Anyway it was absolutely possible to perform a blood eagle.
This might be indeed true. The ritual itself would explain why it's so uncommonly mention in viking verses. I think if it was used, they soon realized that there would be some other torturous way to kill your victim that would take longer. As the victim would most likely die or pass out half way through the process. Either from blood loss, pain, increase of heart rate or just from spinal damage.
I am really wondering, you are not from the U.S. are you? If not, from where are you? Your accent makes me thing of an eastblock country, like romania or ukraine, pherhaps even Russia.
Oh haha im from Poland but i have an english accent as well as i spent half of my life in england, but i just dont like it so i stick with my polish one (To be precise, Poland is in Central Europe, not in eastern like many people think xD)
Ah, that explains a lot, well, i understand why people think it is eastern European, Poland used to border Russia and other Eastern-European countries for quite some while in the past. I don't know to much about Poland, i do know we have the same neighbouring country tho, Big Brother Germany.
I dislike Largetha hardly nobody likes her anyone and She won't be Queen for long but surely someone will kills her off on S5. I think Ivar will work with Finehair to bring Largetha down on S5 to take Largetha down by taking her throne for revenge than kill her after all in Viking history, Ivar is really a bad guy not a good guy and he don't forgets. He is the most Ruthless Warlord in World. Remember He Almost kills Sigurd So don't get too Comfortable about Largetha being Queen. Remember what Seer's told Largetha That she will get kill By Ragnar Son and Remember Ivar words To Largetha that her Fate is sealed. Ivar-One day I will kill You Largetha your Fate is already sealed.

No problem friend! Plus its sometimes better to watch the shows alone as you get a better feel of the show when no one else is watching
the big battle scene is for king ecbert
I hope we see shit get real in it
Well i was replying at the beginning because i thought it was some friendly shitposting but then i realised he was serious and im not a 10 year old who will fight with someone other the internet becuase that someone called me a name hahaha

Theres a reason why Ragnar died with a smile on his face. He knew he would get his payback. He knew what was about to be unleashed. He knew what was coming.
Fury was coming.
Destruction was coming.
Hell was coming.
They were coming.
His sons were coming.................................the SONS of anarchy
they know how their father died, Odin told them he was killed by serpents, and ofcorse they knew it was Aella
I know that they know it was Aella but didnt Odin only tell Ivar or Sigurd how Ragnar died?
Odin talked to all Ragnar's sons but they only showed him talking to Ivar, so they heard the same thing i guess
Oh, well that lets my mind rest finally
Ave Caesar Ivar must
told his brothers what
Odin said to him,
they just didn't show
what Ivar said it to
his brothers about
King Aelle kills there
Father.
And she's like a bad ass athlete too which is a plus. Has a blackbelt in tae kwon do etc.
Oh shit didnt know that. Thanks for the info!

,,How the little piggies will grunt, when they hear how the old boar suffered''
Thats got to be one of my favourite lines of all time along with Ragnars last speech!
Yep he is an Earl the Earl of Sweden I believe is what he said to Lagertha the first time he met her. I also admire that Earl too I mean getting stabbed by that big ass knife.......I know I couldn't endure that.
They won't show
Great Army's battle
war until next week On S4 E19.
it won't even be next episode it will be episode 20. next episode will be all about Lagertha's battle and i think she will die.
I doubt, come on.. for some random f***er to kill Lagertha, there is no way xd
It's a big chariot
for someone who is

Actually it is possible to perform a blood eagle and it was a actual Viking execution

Oh no i just usually dont remember what i say during the reactions so i asked what i didnt believe in haha
Oh sorry. You talked about how some people have problems with human sacrifice because of human rights.
Could you please react to a video called SPONGEBOB IMPRESSIONS ("The Very First Christmas") by Matthew Wojcinski? It's the best impressions I've seen:)
