Hi TH-cam friends! Sorry but I had to upload the Eldris video again. There was a red screen in the previous version. It was NOT in the edit but only after exporting. Why? Don't know. Thanks for all you nice comments on the previous version! Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs
I've had my Eldris for 4 years and I really like carrying it. I got a kydex sheath made for mine. That little rascal has come in handy so many times, I'm glad i bought it. Even field dressed a Whitetail buck with it because my cousin's knife wasn't sharp enough. I carry it in my EDC rotation with other small fixed blades. Thank you for your video. I love the outdoors and try to get out when I can when I don't have to work.
Net weight means it is without the packaging. I don't remember if it was mentioned, the Eldris have a newer variant also the LightDuty with different grind and spine sharpness, polished.
Never saw a red screen in yesterdays video mate...Iv'e had this small Eldris for years, great wee handy knife...I keep mine in a Nite Ize Holster, made 2 wee holes in holster and threaded threw a wee black zip tie threw the 2 holes at bottom of Eldris sheath 🙂
Thank you for telling me. It is a strange thing and it happened to the last two videos I uploaded to TH-cam. Love your tip! Could you send me a picture to info@outdoorguru.com? Cheers, Gijs
Thx for review. Got The same color. Is still fantastic after all years. Handle is more important then a blade in that size. Must be full grip. Dont have that stop loop system. Will try do a loop on the sheath with paracord. If any have a link please share. Thx.
Hi Michael, You are right and wrong, the Eldris is cute and very capable. The weight... 4 grams difference I believe. I would still go for the Eldris between these two. Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs
This knife came out almost simultaneously with the Condor Otzi knife. I think they were both influenced by the same thought. If a copper aged person could get along with a 2” blade, then it should be fine for the rest of us. It does seem perfectly suited for those small camp tasks that are more detail oriented.
Hi Tracy, I did not know the Condor Otzi so thanks for the tip! And I never made this connection but it is justified. I was at the place where Otzi was found a couple of yers ago. Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs
I have the light duty eldris with a full scandi grind I find better for carving and crafting than my mora 120 and 106. I carried it for a year until my RA from getting the knife out of the belt sheath easily
Hi Sven Thomas, Depending on how deep you cut of course it is not bad for the tree. When in season I peel the bark that has come loose because of growing of the tree. Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs

Great video! Thank you for sharing it with us! =)
You are welcome Milliex!
If you want a longer handle slip the case on the back of the knife.
Thank you Sir! 😀
They are cute and I want one, but I think the Mora 510 is a better lightweight, small, economical option with more capabilities.

Lucky you. 😀 Here in France, got recently a light duty for 22.9€ and the "normal" eldris 27.9€.
Your Mexican accent is nice.

This little blade is all business. Second to it is the Mora 511 which is 9 cm instead of 6 cm but is a Bit more delicate compared to this one.
Hi Max, Thanks for sharing your insight👍. Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs
Deja vu
sorry 🙁
Fin liten kniv.
Agreed Joel! Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs

I don't see the point.
