Your parents are just so sweet and genuine I love seeing them!
I loved the challenge today and even the manager joined in...... but did you notice one person who didn’t have the brain! 😂 LOL Blondie is already brainy enough ❤️
My first comment must go for Dad & Mum :) You guys are sooooo brave and open minded! I’m not brave enough to try pig brains myself. And this comes from someone who’s originally from Dong Bei China (Amy’s second hometown😜). Thx for raising Amy to be such an inspiring and amazing person. She’s literally my number 1 favorite TH-camr. Love your family lots. All the best!!!
I eat brain too, but only pinch by pinch, not a big chunk. The store manager explains how Chinese people accept these unusual food. Most people don't eat them and I think I am the only one eat brain in my family. Fun video. I am sure Blondie's acceptance to new food beat most of Chinese now. Should go to Inner Mongolia and try some horse dairy.
Honestly, I’ve never tried pork brain in my life and I’m a Chinese. You’re Dad is a real badass.
Your parents is so lovely, also good to see you bring friends along for the adventure!
At least I know I don't need to give up Chinese BBQ if I head back and decide to live in Sydney - that is definitely good to know!
good to see you here Harry, i just discover so many yumi Chinese food from Amy's video. She is a very very lucky girl.
I really appreciate how much Dad just throws himself into these experiences. If it's trying something spicy to stinky tofu to literally eating aorta, he just jumps straight into it and it's fantastic. Mum is equally as wonderful and I've been enjoying these videos with the parents so much!
Your videos not only show the food, but also really bring happiness.
Dad's food before 2019: meat, veg, fruits
Dad's food now: brain, tribes, aorta, intestines, kidneys
You and your family are too awesome! Can't wait til COVID is over and you take us back to China! Max is pretty cool, bring him back in future videos!
Your mom and dad is ready to take over this channel. ‘Parents in Sydney’
There is a British vlogger in China who just uploaded taking his parents to dinner. The original 50,000 fans have soared to 300,000 fans in just three videos
Lol!!! Totally agreed! Another case of the sidekicks outshining the main character.....
Your parents are the coolest people. They're so funny too. Thanks for another great video.
I think Chinese shaokao and Australian meat would be an amazing combo
Imagine the sauce or spice flakes dropped on that fancy suit. Mate you have my respect.
This is the video i want to see, a father learning from daughter, and look so happy.
love the food adventure you and your parents have! What a loving family!!!❤
Wow... your parents are a sport. Thumbs UP!!!! Hanging out with them sure are a lot of fun.
Hv been watching your channel for a little while. I hv to say your parents are super cool and very open minded! I wish my parents are like them !! Looking forward to see another food adventure with your parents soon!!
what an adorable video! Watching your vid makes me relaxed after work and miss my hometown food lol. P.S. Max should start a channel himself haha love his facial expressions and the vibes you & him were trying to ‘trick’ your parents!😆😆
this was so awesome!!!!! I really appreciated how inclusive you were for non meat eaters, as well as acknowledging eating all parts of the animal!! cant wait for next week :D
I love your parents. So filled with fun.
Hi Amy, a new fan over here. Love your parents. They are so lovely! Hope they are doing well in Australia. Since I started to watch your vlog, I have been into your Australia accent. It is so cute! Your mandarin is pretty good by the way!
VERY glad to see you guys enjoy Chinese BBQ so much, well, those things can be challenging for at least 2/3 of Chinese people as well as to you. Bravo!
有爸爸,妈妈的视频简直太开心了。妈妈可爱,爸爸幽默。
I love that you always put footages about when you were in China, it makes the videos more interesting and fun, I really love your videos. And your parents are hilarious 😂
your dad is really fun person.....love this man. Awesome!
I love you Amy, you're such a wholesome food creator. Thank you for showing and respecting Chinese culture and foods
I super love your videos so much with your parents . I won’t ever miss watching your upload everytime !! ❤️❤️❤️ can’t wait 😝
I'm delighted that there are finally videos about real Chinese food, not American fake style such as “General Tso's Chicken” or “Beef Broccoli. “ btw, though I'm a Chinese, 牛黄喉,猪脑,goat balls, these are definitely not on my menu neither. 😂
this is very wholesome and lovely how you all try new things from a different culture :) much love and respect for you!
为敢吃猪脑的parents点赞。 看饿了我飞奔下楼去维族小哥那点宵夜。 Wish you back to China soon。
Awesome! I’ll be having some 東北燒烤 this week too (Singapore edition), and this just whets my appetite even more! I do hope they serve brains there, as I had it before I was working in Shanghai previously and really enjoyed it.
Actually no Chinese local would say “ZHU NI HAO WEI KOU” for BON APPETITE Max! LMAO 🤣
Thumbs up for your parents trying Aorta and Pork Brain, for lots of Chinese haven’t even tried them (and I am one of them 🤪) !
I'm so jealous, I'd love to have some shaokao every day😂
Awesome! Love your parents, you, and friend being adventurous. Looks delicious. Can’t wait until travel is allowed again to China to try the delicious food. 💕👍
All of you are really open mind and brave, some food not every Chinese will try...Happy to watch your video
I love this video a lot! I'm sure you and your parents have definitely impacted a lot of people on cultural open mindedness! Stay positive!
What a delicious meal with great company. Love your parents!
You are very beautiful and I came across your post here. I hope we can be friends.
One of the very greatest things about your uploads is your sheer enthusiasm and passion. In the first minute or so it feels like you must be driving at 5000 miles an hour and scaring your father. 🤣
I'm the same way when someone asks me something about Tanzania. I would talk for days on end forever given half a chance.
A hell of a lot of people go through life just going through life. A lot of times through no choice of their own.
Your passion for all things China kicks my ass and fires up my passion for all things Tanzania.
Tanzanian cuisine is not the finest though.
Your parents are absolutely lovely !
Yes!! Been waiting for this video!! When we were living in Chongqing we would have shaokao for dinner at least twice a week - so easy and delicious!!!!
Your dad’s reaction is legend
Her male friend is Funny as heck .....he's Flaming for sure!
I just really enjoy your family trying Chinese foods.
Lucky girl. You have such lovely and nice parents
I like that Mike has a Northern/Beijing accent in Chinese XD
Oh man! now I am super hungry and nostalgic! I remember them days eating bbq and drinking beer till 6AM in Shandong!
Wow dad actually said that really well! Love it guys :3
been watching since 2019!! LOVE you videos and ur family is SO FUNNY
Your parents are so great! So lovely!
Way to go Max. You suit up nicely to a Chinese bbq lol!
This is the only video i can hold my smile n laugh from beggining til the end !! Yr parent n yrs friend are funny 🥰🥰 good editing too
Thank you Amy. I'm always happy to watch your videos
Amy it's time to do the 14 days quarantine and take your parents to experience the wonders of all things China! Visit Liziqi and take us all along!
i really like your way of speaking and presentation. so damn easy to understand and smooth.
You folks are a joy to watch. I am n overseas Chinese and although I travels to Guangdong a lot, i dont think i am as adventurous as your dad. Pig brains is not something i can stomach if i am sober. Enjoy your stay in China, have fun!
the moment i opened your channel, i knew my fasting plan is gone
Died laughing when your dad tried to convince the manager to eat brain hahaha
I gotta say, your BBQ expert friend looks like James Franco with beard.
Going to shaokao in suits? That's some balls Max! XD
Warm family ,and cute parents too
Met your dad on the Bib track with my daughter. Great guy. Hope to keep in your with him.
Its awesome that this restaurant offers so many dishes, wish they can open branch in NZ
This video is gonna be of great help to my research into Chinese barbecue in relations to the western market.
So, a thousand thanks for making this!
You speak awesome Mandarin, btw, very impressive! How long have you stayed in China, and in which parts, if i may ask?
Anyway, 谢谢你的视频~
I really love the vibes there. Nice meal for everyone.
I can’t wait to get shaokao when the checkpoints have reopened. I agreed with Amy, eggplants 🍆 shaokao is my favorite dish among all. Thanks for showing me this. It brings me back to the good old days when I was in ShenZhen night market. 👍🏻🙏🏻
Wasn't Egglant your favorite hahaha. I love BBQ sweet potatoes too. Personally, I haven't tried brain, lol. It seems more common in Sichuan or Chongqing Hotpot. Your parents are awesome.
I don’t know which was smoother...the brains or Mr. Silk?
Yep. I can picture him doing VERY well in China, people must’ve thought he was a Hollywood star or something.
Your parents are so cute, and your friend is super handsome
My favorite BBQ is Xinjiang lamb skewer or kebab. 😋😋😋
Your parents are very lucky, can try all kinds of traditional Chinese food😋😚😌
The best part is the fun and joys while enjoying these foods..😅😁😊😘👍
Do you plan to return to China? You must have answered it in your previous videos but I missed it. You and your parents have visited the Chinatown restaurants enough🤣 Looking to see back in China 🇨🇳 sometime this year
Wow, you guys have tasted more Chinese BBQ foods 🍖🍗 than me as an Australian HongKonger. Unbelievable ! 😋 Perhaps go to Chinese way of Edging Furnace ( 打邊爐 ) 🥘 🍲 for more foods gathering ! 😁 🤓
Thumbs up to your very sporting parents Blondie!
I wish I could join you guys! Your parents and friend are lovely!
It was nice of Amy to just let that Chinese bon appetit BS slide LOL.
I must have been taught wrong, apologies! My Beijing friend told me to say it for a video we made for billibilli.
@@MaxSilkSydney It is not wrong, but not something people say. I thought Amy would point it out to you, but she was too nice to do it :)
@@Mariobrownio1989 what’s it mean then? If it’s not something people say. And you know you can help educate others without being so rude. :)
I hadn’t meet anyone doesn’t like Chinese BBQ yet. The brain isn’t really prepped well but hey, it’s Australia, what more can you ask. Brain have a bit of nutty flavour. Your family is handling the chilli very well and good chopstick skills from your mum.
下次我去悉尼也去这家吃
You have a superb parents there 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Ami, you bring so much joy to my dull days😂😂🤭
Your parents are adorable.
I am inspired to try and cook shaokao since there is nothing like it around my area. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm looking forward to the followup do-it-yourself video.
Some tips: Tons of spices, less salt, strong heat, and turn the skewers every 3 seconds. Brush the meat with oil before put spice on it.
@@cochan7347 Ha! Digital skewer construction. Love it. Thanks for the hints.
Max is so likable
Wow this video is so good. Have to give it up to your parents. Hard to imagine anyone would step out their comfort zone to try all those bizarre things. Those types of food may seem normal to lots of Chinese people, but to westerners, they sounds scary. Your parents deserve the credit for trying those.
I think Chinese bbq is so yummy. I haven’t tried any of the Chinese bbq yet. If I have a chance I would love to try them. Lol hehehe
I don't know if I could handle the peer pressure in this group!
One of the most underrated foods on earth. If all Americans tried this they would ditch pizza and burgers
Your parents are very fanny, and open to new stuff... enjoy the variety of food this world has to offer..!!!
dear ms. in china,
i have binged all of your content where you show your parents food and i desire more. for the mutual benefit of your viewers and your parents who are clearly massive foodies, please make more videos with them!!
I really just love them : good an nice people !
Uber Kool parents bring them China to travel too... epic Family Tours
I’ve always driven past this place. Now will definitely stop to dine in. Thanks Amy!
awesome! pork brain and aorta are challenging foreach person!
Very nice family... love u guys
I can assure you all that next time Amy gets us to try brain (or similar!) , I will not let her get away without having to try it too. I have to say though, that it was actually quite tasty!
OMG! You are so brave! 🎩 off to you!
Blondie's Mum,
Easy on Amy. Your daughter is an open-minded woman, well-taught by her parents. She eats a lot more variety of cuisines than most people do. Once, my Chinese friends tricked me into eating pig brains and told me afterward, I vomited all over myself. They weren't nice and not supposed to do that to me. I was mad with my friends.
Salute to Blondie's Mum and Dad for their challenges on 👏 chinese food adventures, up to next highest level. I am a Chinese but never try pig brain 🧠 as well. Bravo Aussie family and Max as well!!
I’m Asian so I grew up with these kind of food. Especially bugs and crickets. So it came to a surprise to me when I first heard other people never had it. It’s nice to see people enjoy it as much as I do
Please do make sure of that😂😂😂. Love your family!
