more i listen to it more i get addicted to it, but first time hearing it was so weird and mixed emotions that i instantly started listening to it on repeat. it has so many layers that it's imposiible to catch everything at once, every more listen reveals every little secret they put in this song. it's gonna be long three months before we get album (especially after teasing us with this "controversial" song) but god damn this song will get me throu that time quickly. i am greatful to be fan of a band that isn't scared of changes and doing "unpopular" stuff.
everyone encountered the same problem as yours for the first time but when they started listening it on loop it grew on them and is one of their favourite songs out there.
@@AryanSMH plus i am not one of the guys who disliked Tha Stage album, with this song it was just wrong expectations from my side and m shadow's voice kinda threw me off, i wasn't expecting that much of a change
@@AryanSMH i know that but if i am correct he did that surgery before The Stage album came out but still you can notice very big difference is his sound from the stage album and from this single
Hi guys! I read that it may be influenced by the existentialism philosophy of Albert Camus... you are right on what you sense! About our existence, the meaning of humankind existence and its purpose... That is cool ! This is actual, a real piece of art!
The whole album was influenced by Albert Camus' works. He believed that all humans are basically here for nothing, life has no meaning because we are going to die anyway. So this whole album will be very existential.. I'm hoping for some faster tracks tho. Like God Damn on The Stage.
the video is way better as the music IMO The basic sound has something, I like that but in total if I only would have listened to it I would have skipped it i guess, but the video was awesome
@@PeteVinniePlay This is one I think you 2 should cover immediately!!! Extreme's new single "Rise" Rick is right, Nuno Bettencourt was always GREAT and on top of that he is simply the coolest dude every th-cam.com/video/MnSnuf9QPqs/w-d-xo.html
Synyster's playing was the best thing of this song !! The main riff is a bit radio wise kind of direction !!! We are far from city of evil !! Its not bad, and its not super good eighter !! Its in the in between zone for me !! Great reaction as always !! You guy's have a good one !!👍🤘
Hey, would you guys like to be the first to react to a song i recently recorded. The song is called "to all that I've betrayed" by Ardere Mortem. I'm a solo artist experimenting with genres. I'm 19 years old, and i wrote this about 2 years ago when i was 17. I don't have the best recording/mixing experience but it's mixed well enough to be enjoyable.
Musically it's great, but not a sound I wanted continued on from the Stage. Be interesting to see the rest of the album but I'm trying to adjust but their new sound is an acquired taste, I find myself skipping to the Guitar parts to appreciate Gates's work. I always wonder what they would have become if Jimmy had lived. It's clear to me that everyone is rooting for A7X to do well but I think if this was a new band and put this out it wouldn't get half the applause and the people saying otherwise knows that's true. This is 100% a skippable song - Love the Video visuals though. They know how the put together cool videos and ideas for sure but this dreamy space/alternative ethereal paradigm space journey is a spaceship of bullshit that needs to crash in my opinion. I accepted it on the stage. I don't need a part 2 after 6 years of waiting.
interesting points Aydin, it's tricky because most bands feel the need to evolve or change... let's see what happens and hope everyone can enjoy some A7X in the future :)
You have this backwards, if this was a new band they would get a lot of love for the creativity and arrangement. The fact that it's A7X, people are just complaining it's not CoE and giving it more hate than it deserves.
@@bricehatcher8391 I understand what you’re saying but I still think the songs skippable. Let’s see what the rest of the album says. There’s no doubt it’s brilliant in composure. Not memorable though. Visually amazing, creative but still feel like this is sounding like The Stage part 2 from what I’m hearing. I’ll wait for the final product but if it wasn’t for the music video I wouldn’t listen. I’ll just skip to gates Solo and move on. Might not be a popular opinion but im a huge supporter of the band but I’m not gonna sugar coat it.
actually its been 7 years since The Stage….. Diamonds In The Rough actually is the side B of their self titled album

This was my thoughts exactly, heavy Floyd vibes, very atmospheric sounding.
