Mr. Asche, you are a great teacher sir. i use as many of your techniques as possible. thank you for posting your videos on youtube. i would love to say i am a student of yours also. i am asking how i can get a patch to put on my gi, also i would like to get and buy a gi like the one you use, how or where can i get one like yours.
Yes, joint pains are common for BJJ practitioners or athletes of extreme sports in general. Hopefully they are not extreme. If you loose weight there is a possibility that it will benefit your health in the long run but I am not a doctor and do not know your body composition. Your weight to height ratio sounds healthy to me.
Joint pain is 9 out of 10 times a result of inflammation. The main culprits of inflammation (unless there is an underlying condition) is sugar consumption and low intake of dietary fats (omega 3 specifically). Eating more fish, organs and vegetables whilst cutting down on sugar and "diet" products make drastic improvements in most people. Consider looking over your diet.
Boghdan2000, time for supplements, if you don't already. Fish oils, healthy fats, chondroitin, or products like "joint health". I've got some years on you and I go through phases of really sore joints. Once you get into the habit of using the supplements, it should ease up.
I can't wait to start playing with this. Thanks for posting.
