The British were in a column, and like almost every ambush He targeted the lead and rear tanks so the ones in the middle couldn't move.
By far my favourite WW2-based RTS is CoH. So many hrs spent playing this game. And my favourite tank would be probably have to be king tiger. God that thing is massive and yet so beautiful. At least in this game.
The IS series was to heavy for it to be considered the best tank in History. Most people wouldn't consider a Tiger the best either. Most would consider the Panther since it was much lighter and less prone to breaking down. Had the tiger not been prone to breaking down then yes it could and possibly would have been the best in history.
Not to bad, but you could do better. Don't waste your time with the points, while you are being engaged. Check the symbols, identify PIAT troops and take them out, since they can and will damage the tank. Also, if you see a target, engage right away.. You can try to flank, if it is just one, but if you have multiple tanks closing in, make sure you present them your strong front, and not the rear while trying to get into a "better position"

My favorite is Panzer IV ofc. It's reliable, can be deproyed in high numbers, and pretty OP.
