I've never heard of that city, but I've heard of Bangalore. Could you, by any chance, explain to me why do you have two cities in the same province with basically the same name? In Serbia we've got lots of upper/lower or new/old cities, so I'm guessing something similar is the case with Bangalore and Mangalore. Either way, have a nice day and enjoy your excellent food :). I try to recreate it from time to time, but we lack a lot of your spices in shops, so recreation is usually not very authentic, sadly.
brcha These are anglicized names. The real names are Bengaluru and Mangaluru.. "Uru"in local language means place. There are meanings for these names as well. Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka state and a tech city while Mangalore is a coastal area which is close to 8 hours journey from Bangalore by car. Even though they are part of the same state, the culture is quite different due to geographic reasons
This is not the authentic Mutton Ghee roast. I am from Mangalore. The ghee roast masala has different ingredients and it has to be grind wet. Towards the end, we need to temper the dish with ghee n curry leaves.

I don’t care to use coconut 🥥, is there an alternative I could use? Ground almonds? Almond flour? Corn flour?
Pressure cooked right? If yes, till how many whistles?
What do you mean by whistle, not all pressure cookers whistle!
Nice Excellent.

How much whistle for the mutton and quantity of ginger/garlic for boiling

Boil mutton for how long ?

Can you tell me the proportions for 1kg mutton?
Madam how’s this roast???
For how long the mutton should be boiled?
Deepika versatile - She said boiled, not pressure cooked !
bofhvp majority that’s how beef is done, you boil in pressure cooker first, comes out nice and soft.
It looks great... only the mutton got killed when boiled.
And am going to ........
I really liked your.......comment
