This song's from the heart testimony went thru me one Saturday night at home , you see , I knew them from the rock lifestyle days , I understood what David was singing about , so I called a phone number on the CD sleeve , someone said hello , I just started telling how the Holy Spirit was overflowing within me from this song's testimony , the voice on the other end said " God Bless You , My Brother " the voice was unmistakenable - David Huff - I thanked him for writing the song , but he just gave the Glory to God , he loves Jesus so much , we ended saying we'd pray for one another , this song is a blessing
In the spring of 1995, I was battling a really hard time, with fear & anxiety. I confined myself in my kids bedroom, for 2 weeks.(yes, 2 weeks) With lots of prayer, & this song playing over & over continuously, God broke the chains that held me down. Thank you Jesus!
As a young Christian I had the cassette tapes this band is my first invitation to Christian church. My brother invited me I said no. I am 34 years saved now. Jesus heard his prayer.
It is not really about sentimentality...although I know that that is not quite what you meant. But if not for Jesus Christ, I would not have made it through my first 18 years of life...He kept me grounded and strong enough to keep going. These songs remind me to be thankful for that.

TH-cam has been acting very weird the last few days and you are right, it went down from a count of 43 to 0. I do not know what is going on. Half of my comments don't show up either. Maybe they have a glitch of some kind...or a Gremlin...named Gizmo...no, that's me. Oh and by the way Gizmo IS a little gremlin. Whenever I opne the fridge he jumps inside it and I have accidentally shut him in there a few times already!
