The fifish was cool but this one seems like it’s on a whole other level! At least learning in the pool you don’t have to worry about getting stuck like in the pond! Can’t wait for the open water content though!👍🏼
Even a simple off the shelf waterproof detector that beeps could be useful if you had a sub with a camera that had a microphone but for some reason most of the ROVs don’t for some reason. I guess because they probably think you won’t want the sound of the motors and that makes sense for aerial drones but there are lots of times when you DO want to hear under water.
Back in my day, if you wanted to drive a rc submarine, you just stood by some water with a controller and tell passers-by that it's a submarine and it's under the water. Had to use your imagination and it only cost a nickel.😉👍👍

Hey that is awesome! Good luck with your pool repairs. Just some advice from one RC loving pool owner to another, if you put your RC's in the pool after being in a lake make sure that they are thoroughly washed beforehand otherwise you can introduce algae, particularly in summer or if the pool is heated.
I know you found your sunken drone did you ever recover it. Good practice is to get stones and pebbles of varying sizes and shapes drop to the bottom add debry on some to remove to get to the pebbles/stones, also wrap rope round a strange shaped object to unhitch it to allow the boat to be free from the tangled anchor rope.
Hell yes I want more RC submarine adventures. The flyfish were nice but this one looks a bit more robust if you do happen to find something in your ROVing.
I can already imagine a fun potential use for this with your pond next to the mine-site! You could scrape samples off the bottom and run it through the washing plant :D Can't wait to see what you get up to next and I'm very excited for the next episode of GOLD

Noticed the two water catch pools and the new Gold Operation being established, have you still got a stash of "Santa's Broken Toys" LOL. Promising crew you got there.... First of all how about having a go at making an "off grid electricity supply", using the RC Construction Crew plus parts from an old washing machine. You probably already know if you have a stream or water source with enough head of water pressure from maybe a constructed "mini dam", from an alcathene pipe to parts from a "washing machine" and a little advice from some experts you can create electricity. Would make some great RC Adventures. This could be used to part power your home or workshop. Could be a new "reality series" RC Hydro Electric, with dam building, water races and the hydro electric plant. Also would be handy if tend to lose supply at times and would bring "ecological rc" into the forum. Self sustaining re-charging. Just an idea if you get bored. Also wrt the new UAV, fellow You Tubers "Adventures with a Purpose", maybe could do with some of your expertise and contacts. Unless you didn't know these guys are divers who originally would go and help locate dumped cars and boats etc. Then lift and remove them from rivers to make the waterways or wadding spots environmentally safe and clean. Recently these guys have been called out to cold case "missing person's" investigations where the trail has gone quiet and family and loved ones suspect they may be under water, they have been very successful in finding many cases and bringing closure to many families. Could be a specialist in "RC Rescue" as the hobby is now cross pollinating into the real world with drones. Just a couple of ideas if raising a young family, being a husband and maintaining a farm with 220 acres wasn't enough. Cheers

I always thought you couldn't run them in salt water... but with much research I found out you can. So if my boat sinks... I know who to call hahaha.
