I visited his home , atop a mountain . Multiple forges 20 paces from his kitchen. He let me scavenge for end pieces and only denied one ! out of 60 pounds. Found him at the Atlanta Blade Show in 2013. He is a ever evolving artist, oldskool, a true one of a kind!

If you like the steel please contact Robert Eggerling. He may be making knives but I think he's only focused on steel billets since he didn't have knives on his table. He may know some people who will make you a knife with your choice of damascus.
