God is in the "word of the Lord" - the still small voice. It's 183 KM travel distance (60 hrs of walking) from Mt Carmel (where the priests of Baal were killed) to Beersheba where Elijah drops off his servant and gives up. It's 424 KM travel distrance from Beersheba to Mt Horeb/Moses/Sinai. Today it would take at least 160 hours of energetic walking to go from Carmel to Horeb.
