A point in passing. It's really important to respect opponents, no matter what the game is. A couple years ago Cats (football) played Tulane in the beginning of the season. Press info I was getting on Tulane was that they were "so - so"/no respect etc. Tulane, as fate would have it, turned out to have a very strong team that year and won the game. (Nobody knew it though, at the beginning of the season!). In 2023, the press info on Iowa State (football) was that "A so so mediocre effort by the Cats would be good enough to beat them." Nothing could have been further than truth! Cyclones must've been listening to the podcast and gotten very angry. Iowa State showed up at Kansas State for pregame warm-ups topless, in a wicked snowstorm. Have you ever been so angry that you could go outside in the middle of a snow storm and still be hot? So it's important for the press and the fans to respect opponents too. In the New York Metropolitan area, St. John's (11-3 ) has ALWAYS been a highly respected basketball program (with or without NIL). Unfortunately their retired beloved coach Lou Carnesecca, had passed away just before the Kansas State game. He had coached there for 24 seasons and is regarded as a Saint in the New York City Metropolitan/Northeast sports community. Drake was 12 - 0 after defeating Da Cat. So they were not slouching either. LSU, who beat the Cats earlier in the season, is now 11-2. Personally I thought they looked excellent. While we're looking at it, Liberty who defeated the Cats earlier this season, at the time of this writing (Jan. 3, 2025) is 12 -0. Let's Go Kansas State! Inazuma - (e-NAH-zoo-ma)

I completely get it. I hope we get this type of play as we did vs. Cincy for the remainder of the season.
