- Bethel Church, led by Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotton, is known for an emphasis on signs and wonders, including angel feathers appearing out of thin air in their services. They made this claim just recently, in February of 2024. Kris Vallotton has said he has seen angel feathers appear “on at least a couple hundred occasions.” If that is true, I have an open challenge to Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton, and Bethel Church. If they can meet this challenge, I will immediately and permanently shut down my ministry.

I went to Bethels supernatural school about a decade ago. After my years there I started questioning everything. I thought maybe I was just losing my faith. Then I came across your videos a couple years ago, Justin, and suddenly it all started to make sense: bethel teaches a false gospel. I repented for prophesying false words and believing a false gospel and truly put my faith in the TRUE gospel.

@@JustinPetersMin I don't agree with you about Calvinism, however I have no doubt you love the Lord Jesus and I also thank God for you Brother Peters. Years ago, at a Prophecy Club conference, I had attended and ended up being a "catcher" as well as security LOL random stranger BTW, anyways there was this young girl around 14 whom had spinal bifida. Her father had spent over 5 grand to bring her there and when it came time to anoint with oil and pray for those needing healing or prayer they all rushed up to the stage as this "Apostle" had told them. She wanted nothing more than to be anointed with oil and baptized in the name of Jesus, just like the others and I asked her dad if he wanted me to clear a path for her to get to the front, so Tristen and her father and grandmother went up to the middle of the stage where this alleged Apostle was anointing people with oil and putting his hand on their heads, casting out demon etc. etc. but Justin, the look of hatred in that mans eyes as he looked over and saw us coming to the stage, the crowd making way for this now super excited young girl. I honestly didn't know it was a scam and thought these people where truly men of God or brethren, or up until what happened next. This guy literally stopped the music, told everyone to be quiet and took up a microphone and said, "everybody came here expecting to see 7 fold miracles"? and the crowd cheers and hallelujah's, then he say "and everyone is expecting to see this young girl stand up out of this chair and run around the room praising God correct"??
Everyone again goes crazy with the wailing amens and hallelujah's only to be silenced to the man on the stage yelling, well that ain't gonna happen......he wouldn't even look at her nor would he even anoint her with oil or even pray for her. Instead the crowd swarmed around us and the show continued...... I thank God for restraint because nothing loving, kind or merciful was in my mind or heart towards that man as I had to bear witness to the greatest act of cruelty I had ever seen and heard in the flesh. That young girl taught me more about Jesus than anyone in that room. She smiled and told me at least he will get to see her dance with Jesus in heaven and had no ill will towards anyone including him. I thank God for not allowing her faith to be destroyed, strengthening my own with hers and her families. I can't image the damage these false prophets and deceivers do unto others, and for what its worth I thank you for what you are doing to remind people that God does love them, hears them and that they aren't alone. @Justin Peters thank you for calling these people out! I was born with a major heart defect. Sadly I got involved in WOF as a young teenager. The shame they put on me for having 2 open heart surgeries was tough. Saying you don’t have enough faith, it’s your fault. They have no idea what real faith is. Wake up every morning with the same health issues, but you know that God‘s grace is sufficient! They put bondage on people God never intended for us!

Obedience makes faith. We obey Jesus and faith will come. Read Scripture to know how to live a disciple life in the epistles. Trust in God, obey, trust in Him, you will persevere till the end.
@@invisibleman53very true!! When I was in my late 30s (I'm almost 50 now😊) I was trying to grasp faith. I started digging in the Bible for my answers. I realized the more time I spent in deep Bible study with a righteous hunger for God's word my faith grew. Not only did my faith grow , but I feel incredibly close to the Lord 😊
I totally agree! I have had 4 open heart surgeries for birth defects and by the Grace of God, I am still alive. I have been to a church which claimed that I shouldn't have had the surgeries, but that I should have had faith in God as my healer! God healed me thru the surgeons hands and for that I am extremely grateful and Praise God for my life! 😊

Bethel church has decieved our daughter and her husband for the past 15 years! Because of their false teaching online our daughter, her husband and our three grandchildren have estranged themselves from all family and former Christian friends for the past 6 years. Their lives have been ruined and we are heartbroken! Thank you Justin for exposing the deceptive and false teaching of Bethel! May our Lord Jesus bless you immensely!

Jesus literally remarked on this, even to the Apostles...one of his favourite terms was "Ye of little faith!", because despite seeing all the miracles, they still had doubt, they still wanted more. That the generation he came to wants signs and wonders but even when they have them they still do not believe, so how will they believe in the wonder of heaven... when christ was ressurected he said, you believe because you see me but said blessed are those who have not seen me but still believe... meaning, needing no miracles, no signs, no vision but pure faith alone.

We are Hungarian and were deceived for decades giving them our money for the million's they spend on plastic surgery! Please tell those who buy their books or send money, that if God blesses you for sending them your money, God will surely bless them if they send you money for rent and food, all biblical truth! Thank you Mr. Peters for exposing these false teachers in a biblical way. I am a Christian who lives in Japan and was baptized here in a word of faith charismatic church. I have mo idea about Christianity at that time so I just went to the nearest church I can find and that was the kind of church I went to. We had speaking in tongues, mindless repetetive music, fire tunnels. We even taught chicldren to speak in tongues. I remember having missionary students from bethel school. They had us translate for them as they go out to the streets of japan and randomly speak false prophecies to strangers. I remember I was trying to do it for Jesus, as I was also mislead, though I knew that that was wrong, I still translated for them. By the mercy of God I realized all the things that was wrong and sent a letter to our pastor and the church leaders about what I found out was wrong and promptly left. I am now in a small bible group here in Japan who also left their charismatic churches and we are now studying the Bible exegetically. Please pray for the people in Japan because word of faith and charismatic churches are also spreading here and many people and even children are being misled.
I belong to a reformed Baptist church here in the U.S. and we pray for the persecuted church individually each week. We prayed for Japan several weeks ago. I pray again now🙏 God bless you all. God is Sovereign don’t ever forget.✝️

It is more like this, 2 Tim. 4 "2 Proclaim the message; persist in it whether convenient or not; rebuke, correct, and encourage with great patience and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear something new. 4 They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths." The PEOPLE raise up these false prophets. So, like others who have commented, we have to question if these people attending these "churches" are actually Believers in Christ. A Spirit Filled Believer would not continue to darken the doors of these false churches and listen to these false teachers, unless they are there to bring rebuke to the false teacher.

I mean…that’s assuming their wings have feathers…and shedding is a biological process so it wouldn’t apply to spirits not to mention that because it’s a biological process, it’s not necessarily sinful or a sign of the Fall.

I was a part of this for many years.. It is a full time job of self righteous pursuit, wether ever so sincere or not. it has a surface level joy in all the emotional experiences but always with an underlying discontent, called "a longing for more"Such as, for a special annointing, an ability to prophecy in order to save the lost! health, wealth, having the favor of man, walking in supernatural power, changing the atmosphere by my prescence! trips to heaven! it can only turn into obsession with those who claim to "know how" ugh... and eventually depression off and on because those were very heavy burdens! But by the grace of God, he opened my eyes to my pride and I heard and understood the gospel for the first time, I was crushed by my sin and saw my pride in all of it. There really really is rest in the gospel!

I was a janitor at bethel for almost 2 years. Never found any feathers or gold dust. I have seen dust fall from the ceiling. And I’ve also had to clean up lots of glitter off the chairs and carpet. I’ve never seen angels there but I have seen some demons peering around the corners at me. This was just a few years ago.

I was planning to go to Bssm back in 2019 with my then girlfriend, thankfully through the holy Spirit and your videos Justin, I was able to find the true Gospel and am now working in a small church in Germany. Love in Christ from northern Bavaria.
Many years ago, before I was saved, I had a roommate who was a professing Christian. He never tried to share the Gospel with me, but he did share Pigs in the Parlor with me. Then he started staying out all night, claiming that his church was battling demons - one notable exorcism being done on the pastor's wife. That story terrified me and sounded like something from the Exorcist movies. Then weird stuff started happening at the apartment. I had night terrors, lucid dreams, and sleep paralysis on top of it. I was so angry that he was messing with things he didn't understand and was bringing them home. I believe I prayed for protection (I was basically a bad Catholic at the time). When the lease came up, he told me he was heading to California to join a church. A year or two later, I saw him on a TH-cam video, lengthening people's legs on the streets. He had joined Bethel and was fully drinking the Kool-aid, so to speak. By God’s grace, I've come to repentance and salvation this year, and when I see videos like this (especially the Bethel vids), I remember him. Please pray for him; it's been 15 years.

I didn't go to BSSM, Charis, Lifestyle or any of the other signs and wonder schools that blatantly violate Acts 8. But I did read Valloton's "Supernatural Ways Of Royalty" through a young adult group the pastor's son at my old church had at his house. He was ordained into ministry at the Bethel church in Atlanta. I read it twice, thinking it was the most profoind thing I ever read. That one book put me in a mental/ spiritual position such that I thought my abusive relationships, failing college, and even my ADHD symptoms were a reflection of the thoughts I was having towards situations in my life (he misquotes Proverbs 23: 7 in chapter 3).
When you read something like that, from someone super famous and widely accepted as legitimate Christianity, excited because you believe you've unlocked some kind of "cheat codes" to the game of life... the damage is extensive. It's not enough to not go to BSSM. You have to reject everything about Bethel. Right down to the theology in their music (Justin if you see this I know you agree eith this, I'm saying for anyone else here). That tiny little bit of influence, albeit built upon other Word Of Faith doctrines I was raised into, crippled my life. If you are at a church that uses Valloton's prophetic handbook, Sozo, any of their other programs, or even their music, get rid of it for the sake of others. If it looks Biblically accurate to your eyes, and you cannot detect the things that are wrong with it, you need to theologically mature and get rid of it anyways.
Somehow the mention of the Fish and Wildlife Service, while surely appropriate and warranted, cracked me up. It just highlights the absurdity of the whole thing.

I went to a church that "manifested gold dust". I remember so desperately wanting to believe in it, but every time that someone was showing off the gold dust on their hands - all I saw was sweat.
Happened to me, too. A lady insisted she had gold dust on her hands when clearly, it was sweat. She never spoke to me again.

I signed up for the theotherapy course offered by journey community church which is a part of the network churches of Bethel in Northern Ireland, UK and felt not so good about it. Started praying and researching and came across Justin's channel, withdrew from the course and sought the Lord to lead me to a church where the gospel is taught correctly and the Lord led me to Limerick city church.

Thank you for sharing about your health challenges. I've been chronically ill for decades now (in fact became ill shortly after coming to the Lord). It's been a hard walk, but the Lord knows what He's doing with it and what He does is always good. I share this to encourage you that you are not alone in the road the Lord has called you to. It is not going to happen. These calling out videos for people to show evidence to support their claims are never going to take up the challenge. Maybe if half or more of their followers were jumping ship to support Justin Peters I can see that happening. I think Bethel's youtube page alone more than double the amount of subscribers that Justin has. Take a master con artist with say ten million speaking favorably of him. Then take someone with a few thousand saying he is a con artist. Do you really think people are naturally going to side with a minority ? Much less the leader who is lying to people going to take time out of their day to try to prove to a small minority that he is not a lying deceiver.

As Jesus said even if someone rises from the dead they won’t believe (the story of the rich man and Lazarus). Last night I had to take my daughter to the ER. I was in tears just sitting crying and praying quietly over these poor babies and parents. For their healing but that they would know Jesus ultimately. The final spiritual healing. Knowing Christ. But it just also made me so angry sitting there seeing this anguish thinking about these “healing” ministries like bethel. They have absolutely no heart for people that are really sick physically or spiritually. If they cared they would be proclaiming Christ and if their signs and wonders were true they would be clearing these hospitals. It’s all about self glorification!

Exactly why, you won't hear these so called healing Ministries bringing up to their altar people with cerebal palsy, skin diseases, conditions that are visible and can't be easily faked. If they do it isn't often and chances are if they don't get healed the people just get told they didn't have the faith, they didn't give money to them first, or they have un confessed sin and that is why they were not healed. I feel like challenging these false teachers that are extremely popular is a waste of time. They are not able to reason. All they care really about is their getting tons of money, they are being idolized, and people are drinking up their kool-aid of popular teaching and music.
God still heals. Do not ever say it's not possible.

We noticed feathers falling and realised it was a chicken. Then bones started falling, and bits of beak. And we were like: “come on!” And we felt the Lord saying “I will cover you in poultry.” And we all shouted “HOORAY!” and cooked the chicken in a fire tunnel and had a lovely BBQ during which the last few parts of my brain fell out.

By your own assumption the thing you never said you did. Your assumption came in the a form of a question then name calling. Assuming angel feathers is my belief or something I hold to as truth. Somehow I’m naive now based upon fact or opinion? I simply hold fast to sound words according to scripture. Even in this video I found a false statement this guy says. Do I believe everything that he says as factual sine is but most of it is assumptions. I bet I can punch holes in anyone’s theology and prove it by biblical truth not opinion. I listen and read what people say I always find inconsistencies in what they say. Bible does say let your ears try words. Guess what? That’s what I am doing just like scripture tells me too. Make of this what you will. I believe divine manifestations that occur in a physical space do not always show up on video. But sometimes they show up on film. Or other times they do not show up at all. I don't know why it happens that way. But I've seen the miraculous show up on a film photo, and it did not show up on digital video of the same event. It was a worship time during a conference with Upper Room Dallas. My phone video of the worship showed a normal looking arena. My friend's film photo of that same worship time showed what appears to be the Holy Spirit moving like mist between the worshippers. I'm aware that people have concerns about the Bethel movement. I've read some of their books and I get it. I also think most of the people in the movement are very sincere and want to follow Christ above everything else. I think the movement is growing in no small part due to the joy that is apparent in it. And sadly, I think the joy that rightfully belongs to every believer who is filled with the Holy Spirit is missing from many other traditions/denominations within the church today.

Bethel church. The NAR/ word faith has been deceiving my mom and sister and brother in law.
My sister and her husband named their son after Kenneth Copeland….. I used to be right there with them but God opened my eyes when I saw American gospel. Than I started watching Jeff durbin costi hinn James white John MacArthur and than I found Justin peters as well! Super blessed I’m finally in a solid Bible church.

If he teaches so much that before Jesus can return the church must operate in signs and miracles and talks of casting out devils and raising the dead. Then, how come he uses glasses for years? Surely, if raising the dead and casting out devils is normal Christianity. If it should be expected than why not he, the staff, and church, who supports him, not do their thing and release the power of God to heal his eyes to where he has 20/20 vision? Which do you think is a bigger sign of God's power? Someone who has been physically dead for more than a day coming back to life or one's eyes improving to where they don't need glasses? If they are so powerful people of God operating in the miraculous than how come multiple times people such as Kris Vallotton has given claims that God has spoken to him about something to come only to have it multiple times not come to pass. How many times did God give a message to Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, or Samuel for example in the Bible where they spoke what God told them to say and it didn't come true? Before you go and decide to reply with "you are not perfect," Christians are not perfect or who do you think you are?" I got some things to say. I am a nobody. I am not famous. I don't have a huge following. I don't have a book publishing deal. I don't get invited to speak in front of thousands of people in some stadium or giant building. I don't own a mansion or private jet in this life. I am not perfect, but what I am not guilty of is taking the Bible and twisting scripture to make it more palatable, acceptable, enjoyable and popular among professing Christians. I don't go around to thousands or more acting like the fire of God has nothing to do with Hell. I don't teach Jesus was born again. Bill does. I don't talk of laying on or leaning on grave markers of supposed dead saints to receive their anointing. Bethel Church has. I don't endorse passed supposed people of God, who didn't hold to essential truths of the Bible and claim to want to have their anointing. Bethel Church pastors have. William Branham believed sin came about after the serpent devil went into Eve. He denied the Trinity. Number of red flags, yet Bill and Kris have told of wanting an anointing of false teachers like Branham that they esteem highly. Bill has taught that repentance has to do with going up to a higher level like being at the top of a penthouse. Repentance is a change of heart, a change of mind and a change of will to not want to keep doing something you know you shouldn't. Joseph Prince another, so called pastor has claimed repentance is making the choice to think bigger, dream bigger, believe bigger. Just because a person mentions, God or the name Jesus or reads off a few Bible verses doesn't automatically mean they serve the same Lord, that believers in the first generation of people called, Christians have been killed for their faith or placed in chains for being a Christian or for giving the Gospel. Popularity isn't necessarily proof that they legit are following the right God. You can say being a conduit of miracles makes you a definite man or woman of God. When it is done in order and teachers are willing to accept correction if wrong. When they act like they are better than everyone else, and people are speaking in their crazy tongues with no interpreter which the Bible states for their to be an interpreter, not for 3, 4 or more to all be speaking at the same time in another language with no interpreter. That is not order. Having people supposedly get prayed for and them screaming and writhing like they are in excruciating pain and they continue on laying hands on more people as if someone in possible great deal of pain is no big deal. That is not order and decent.

They want the power of God to do miracles, but they don't want the wisdom, discernment and accountability required to use it in a way that pleases God.
I have been blessed by the ministry of Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotton, and I am not a baby Christian, nor am I naive. I know people have seen some pretty wild things at Bethel, but these men seem honest and actually rather amazed themselves about the things that have happened there.

I visited Redding CA & got a job at a brewery & lived nearby & ALMOST enrolled in BSSM until I experienced a young guy being "drunk in the spirit" he made the movement with his hand like he was drunk a bottle & stumbling around laughing touching other people & they started doing the same thing & I discerned that the others doing the same thing were repeating after him in their flesh/excitement & as they all were stumbling around and laughing apparently drunk in the spirit, I immediately thought of the Bible verse "be NOT DRUNK with wine, but filled with the holy Spirit" & somehow many people misinterpret the filling of the holy Spirit will cause you to be intoxicated.. and I watched the strange fire conference and I immediately stopped listening to their music.. actually the irony of me ALMOST enrolling into BSSM.. upon applying for BSSM, I was contacted about tuition & told them I don't have the money to pay for it but I'm living by Faith & believing in God for his provision & they didn't let me enroll until I made a payment

Its all about signs and wonders. The supernaturel. Very appealing for young believers. But so harmfull! Its so sad so many are decieved. A couple of years ago i also was chasing these things because i truly believed these people in bethel redding were more spirituel and in bethel was where the "real deal" happened.
Thank God for ministers that warn the church. God used them to open my eyes through His Word. God took away my blindness. I repented for my sin of chasing the good feelings. I Repented of wanting more words of prophecy , more encounters. More goosebumps ect...Because i already had the greatest gift of all. Its all about Him. Jesus Christ alone!!! He is more than enough!
