Our first three GOOSE shows. We had so much fun we bought tix to the three shows coming up in Cincinnati. Love the whole band and all their great music !!!
Peter absolutely laying down the guitar work for the satellite solo! I must say nothing is better watching Rick and Peter use the talk backs live to figure out where the jam goes. The boys are locked in, see you soon again in Washington DC!
Face is still on the ground from getting melted all the way off from SPAC....then these fellas just keep taking it to another level!!! They're saying GOOOOOOOOSE!! 🪿🔥🥸
I really do like goose. I think they have insane talent. But they have like.... and i feel bad saying it but i believe its true.... they have no soul. Its like they have twice as much talent instead of having normal talent and some soul. Like it doesnt feel like it comes from the heart. It sounds talented. Its well arranged. Well performed. But it isnt channeling that special soul energy you get from other jam bands. It sounds like musicians going to work instead of artists channeling the soul of music.
i think you may have it all wrong, i think they made it to where they are because of the soul they obviously all share as a band and with the audience.
@robbstevenson4334 I'd second you on that man. I could understand that some people may feel that they are different with their soul approach, but nonetheless, this is them having fun. Hell, those last 3 days were just as fun for us as it was for the band. They 100% are soulful. They have an outlook that wants to wow us while still energetically exploring new measures of our emotional engagement. Each jam band, to me, is like a member in a family tree: many tend to be stemmed from each others influence and yet have their own soul behind it. My entire childhood made phish sound like the fun uncle. And when I became a teenager? That was even more true. They helped me a lot. Taught lessons when needed. These guys? They honestly feel like cousins. I love 'em. God, even in this jam in Satellite, at exactly 26:00 something hits and I can see/feel the groove they feel.
There is nothing robotic about these guys. While I don't groove on all their stuff this song is not the one to make that point on. Yes slightly reserved but these are Vulcan mind melded and make it look easy.
Your opinion obviously was not shared by 15,000 people in Chicago last week. Anyway, do you make it a habit to go to the official channels of bands you don’t like and post comments like this or do you reserve it for Goose? Just wondering if you think that will give you some extra cred from your phavorite band?
