Thanks for the update. Agree the T5 kicks that hbay light to the curb. Mars lights are doing really good. Stay safe Mr. Joe.

Thank you CB.. It's warming up outside here so I'm sure it'll be safe to take the tents down and rearranged my lights.. My grow room is averaging 58-60% humidity with my tent doors open with room temps of 75F and water temps 64F.. I do believe the air pumps (no chillers) in the basement is helping my water temps stay cooler this year cause it's much colder down there.. I've learned a lot from my very first grow last year..

Still love the T5's! They have always been great for veg in my setup.
    * looks like those roots need a bigger tote?
    Thank you.

Very true and yes I agree with the T5's cause you can grow them to the moon indoors.. This harvest was amazing.. Thanks

Hello, just wondering what dimmer setting you think I should use for my mars hydro tsl 2000. I'm growing tomato plants and it would be a great help. Thanks for you videos. I love your plants. Cheers

That's a good question.. I just leave mine all the way up. My peppers love it but not sure about tomatoes.

Well if you put the high bay light like 70cm above the other leds ofc it’s gonna be worse.

Looks like the DWC units you have bought or built are working extremely well. I have the Mars Hydro TSL 2000 but have not used it yet [ I know it will be good ] and your video helps. I like the comparisons between different lights and the different strains of peppers. Interesting to say the least. Thanks for the video.

I built all of my totes from scratch. I have videos on how to build both 5 gallon and 12 gallon totes. Very easy to build. So far I'm loving the TSL-2000.. Thanks

What was the cct of the LED high bay? ... it looks cool white. Also would be interesting to see some Philips 54w LED tubes swapped into the t5 fixture. They are available at Home Depot for $14 and put out 3500lm each.

You would have to modify the t'5s florescent fixture with a led ballast to make the led tubes work unless there's a new technology that I don't know about.. I'm not sure on the cct of the high bay light but it has a 5500k output.. I can't explain scientific details but I can show what works in my environment.. Thanks

What's the difference between TSL 2000 and SP250?

    • @nwiaquatics
      @nwiaquatics  3 ปีที่แล้ว

The TSL-2000 has a reflective hood and a on board variable dimmer. Plus puts out about 320 watts.. The SP-250 is still nice at 250w and its slim design.. Both are excellent lights.. And I promise you I don't get paid to day this.. Thanks for watching..
I would like to add that the TSL-2000 also has a easy to access on/off switch that's easy to get to.

nothing worst than hydophonics for plants.

    • @nwiaquatics

I have to disagree with ya but it's not for everyone. It's actually expensive to grow indoors in the states so I start indoors then transfer outside.

@@nwiaquatics bro this is too much effort for same results as classic. IMO.
