People in the scooter industry are starting to recognise this. I haven't come across any other channel with more scooter reviews than yours, and plus, with your road trips, you live and breathe scooters. Hopefully, you get invited to a lot more press launches. Would this be a replacement for Brutus?
În a way yes, it's a bike that makes it easyer to go off road then Brutus because of weighing 100kg less, but I'm still keeping Brutus for when every now and then I feel the urge for that old school vibe that only a 30yr old bike can give you.
Nice to see you again in Greece Alex. About the bike, looks good enough but, if the SYM looking for numbers of sales, must be 1000 euros cheaper at least than Honda ADV.
which ADV? I doubt this would be cheaper than the ADV 350 that's be little ambitious. the Honda isn't a real off road bike it's just a slightly bigger forza, this has a lot of additions and custom designs on it.
Nevertheless i decided to go for the ADX 125. That mileage and his large fuel tank is an important thing for me. I like the whole package of the ADX 125. I have to take into my decision that i own a Husqvarna TE610 and no matter how you turn the table, that still is the real thing. But his 1:16 average and 1:14 heavy offroading fuel consumption is also the real thing. And that i can overhaul the entire ADX 125 engine for the same price as the Mahle piston in the Husky is real thing too. Those are important things to consider if you want to ride the distance. The ADX 125 can offraod way enough to have fun on long travels. The ADX 125 bring me from Leeuwarden, the Netherlands to Sevilla, Spain and back for a lower fuel price as the Husky on the single trip. It was not only your video's that brought the Sym ADX 125 to the final choice of my first motor-scooter, also a test ride video from the Netherlands by a 1.95 meter tall guy, the some length as i am. And he fit well on the ADX 125. I can't ride most scooters because of my size. At least, not for the longer run.

Attica looks amazing and if this scooter has a price similar to the Honda ADV350, but more power similar to Piaggio Beverly 400 and offroad capabilities similar to the X-ADV then it looks like a recipe for success. I really hope they will sell this in the UK. I would love to take this to Scotland! The only concern I have is practicality, seen as it's a scooter. It will need to also cope with carrying groceries.
Nevermind. I got in touch with Sym's UK importer (MotoGB) who told me they won't import the ADX TG 400 because the Maxsym 400 was outsold by 300cc Cruisym and Joymax models. They believe these 300s can do everything that this ADX can. They are insane.
I can see that this machine iis the top of this category. Great experience Alex , first European test ride for Sym Adx 400cc . This Adx look very capable and quality , very good job from Sym . Waiting the price , for sure i want a test ride and if i get the click i will buy it .
What is the expected price? I am thinking about Zontes E350 and now I see this bike and I can't decide. Edit: Also I would like to know the extras of each, Zontes seems to include literally everything but the carriage
@@RideWithAlex maxsym TL 508 in Greece is about 8.395€ and maxsym GT 400 is 6.195€ both cases is 1000 to 3000€ difference. Since you have driven all both (E350 and ADX TG 400) do you think it worth the extra price compared to Zontes? (also no idea yet what is the included equipment)
@@unafacciaunarazza if you plan to do off road, the ADX TG is the best for that, if you plan only highways then the 350E is the best. Depends what you're going to use it for.

A scooter is like an easy woman! After the muddy Nht Video this might be the best on the chanel! Chain drive might give the engine faster acceleration than the belt, but cleaning it... Loosing the camera just to have an excuse to abuse the SYM ADX TG 400. Would the wind shield be a better fit for the camera? I think the plastic might be tapered!

Hey Alex, I noticed that you switched from gopro to the action 3, I also have an action 3 and wanted to ask you how have you managed to keep such a clear audio while going at higher speeds I saw that you were using the rode lavalier but the dji only suports usb c. Could you tell me the secret sauce? I would imensly apreciate it as I am working to start an yt channel. Thank you

Foarte tare că ai lăsat întâmplarea cu camera. Amuzant :). Pare promitator tg-ul. Inca rămâne întrebarea, dacă mai merita și motor ai scuter sau unu care sa le combine pe ambele.
Cu ce începe sa apară chiar ca e o întrebare foarte bună. Poți sa zici ca motocicleta e mai puternica pt drum lung dar în același timp am avut ak-ul la test și dacă voiai atingea 185 fără nici un stres, și drumul spre Grecia zontes-ul a stat toată ziua la 140-150, deci cam se anulează toate textele de putere și viteza pe autostrada
@@leventis82 haven't ridden it yet properly but at work we are going to add one to the test fleet and I already have approval to take it out for a weekend and do whatever I want with it and how many km I wish with it. Just waiting for the units to arrive and one to get registration 😁
This one by far, the Honda's suspension can't hold a candle to this thing. Plus the extra power, about 20% extra power. Plus the dinamics having the engine and transmission in frame and not hanging off the back wheel.
@@RideWithAlexit's less than 20% of extra power (29,2 cv for ADV and 35cv for ADX) furthermore the Honda weighs 186kg with a full tank compared to the 213kg of the ADX... almost 30kg more! I don't think that in terms of performance it's such a huge gap (my opinion).
@@giuseppes.921 and the rear suspension, unsprung mass? Have you ever riden a scooter with drive train like this? I've ridden the ADV350 (video is on the channel) and the suspension on it is rubbish. It's too harsh even on paved roads.

I look forward to trying the ADX because I am a former Sym customer (I was for 10 years and would gladly go back). I would switch to the ADX only for performance because I am not interested in off-roading but as I said, I doubt it is a big leap in quality for that.

They are the same thing, there's even a 175cc version in some countrys. Which ever has the most bhp and you can buy on your region.

It's actually the action 4 and it has a dji mic 2 wirelessly conected to it.
