Don't be fooled by MEADE; these telescopes are offering less aperture for sun observation than indicated. The instruments' names are misleading: The "70 mm" version has only 60 mm. Here clearly indicated at 01:20 (D = 60 mm). Only after unscrewing the etalons for night observation, you may use a 70 mm aperture.
Hi. Just bought this but the double stacking version. I have a question. How do I use this for night watching? I know how to remove the front filters but I don't know how to remove the red filter from the BF unit. As this is red I can't see anything at night. Ca someone please advise?
Hi bro from past ten days I'm seeing some flying object in the night.. they are 3 in no. Kindly make a look in the sky because all flights are closed due to lock down
Tech support is awful from Coronado. I've reached out to them several times to discuss an issue I'm having with my SolarMaxII 60MM in the past 2 or 3 months and never get a response.
All Solar Max 3 made in Mexico are crap. They do not have the fine definition of details that the ones made in the USA had. In addition, they are also extremely expensive. I personally tested.

Looks like a futuristic gun
I'll buy one in the future.
Can I use my 2" explore scientific eyepieces for solar viewing with the supplied diagonal?

you have too remove the whole BF diagonal and replace it with a regular one, BUT DON'T FORGET TO PUT THE BF DIAGONAL BACK WHEN YOU'RE night observing
