I don't understand why I love their music so much. You guys somehow combine blues and rock with the new indie/alt scene. You guys created a new genre I search for in music now as well as influence the music I make with friends. Keep it up.
I think there's a lot to do with the guitar echoing vibe and the way the singer seems to play with his voice and breathe out the sounds from his mouth...somehow their songs seem to fill the whole atmosphere around you. idk if that makes sense sorry english is not my first language
Do you ever feel like music appears in your life at a specific time almost like it was planned? Do you ever feel like you've been through this life before?
this song to me is so much more about life than about a breakup, it is like a piece of my soul that was a missing, cause it makes me feel so complete and happy like wow lifes freakin beautiful!
I was studying in a pub in Edinburgh when this album was playing over the sound system. Live Well and Bitter became the top songs from my year in that great city. I wish these guys all the success in the world just so I can keep hearing more beautiful music by them.
This song is the kind of song you listen to in your room with the lights off ,looking at the ceiling with headphones blaring it and just laying there in peace
my husband and I separated 2 months ago. this song helped me process more than therapy could. I'll be getting divorced over the next few months and I've accepted that. fully. Since it has come to that, Thanks for the love we had 🖤
I found this song through a girl i know i'll probably never see again, it brings back such great memories of the time I had with her. Whatever it was, it's over now, but this song takes me back
I found this song right after my boyfriend and I broke up, he was and is one of the most important people I've met in my life, when we met I was struggling with serious anxiety issues that was literally killing me slowly and he lead me to find a professional, to say it in a way when I gave up he just saved me from myself and thanks to his selflessness I'm still here, and every time I came listen to this song again I'm feeling grateful for have met him, even when I don't know where he is now and what he's doing now, I wish him the best in the world
This song takes me back to a sweet memory, I was with my friends in a lonely church surrounded by trees, just in time for the golden hour. Amazing how a song makes you feel the warm sun and the soft breeze!
honestly I've only had flings and flirts, so this song reminds me more of hanging out with my friends not doing anything meaningful but something that meant everything to me at the time. Having lived through all that, and then knowing it's a passing thing. I miss those times.
@@hibye-by3yb same, I totally get you! You just hang around with friends doing silly or even boring things, but at the end of the day you treasure the time spent together. I really miss those times too, even the painful ones helped me see the good ones. I really hope more moments like those come to both of us, please have hope as well!
@@ithzshout yeah I'm still young (21) so there's a lot of new things left for me. I think you're young too, so we will get to explore so many new and different things. This was me and my first real girlfriend and first love favorite song to listen to together, we would play it as loud as we could with all the windows down singing back to each other, we recently broke up and as much as it hurts I'm grateful we have those memories of each other and im grateful to experience that type of love thank you H.

I just got into this band and find more and more brilliant tracks. This is definitely one of them! I am very glad that they will come to my home country Switzerland in November on their tour for the forthcoming album! 🙂
Sweeping, dancing with the broom to his voice, wishing for arms. Tears that come from the corners of the world, on my way to cleanliness. Love this band
Palace: I was almost about to end my life and the only thing I could hold on to was music. Your music helped me more than you will ever know. Can't wait to see you guys in Philadelphia thank you.
I found this song in 2021, I had just found the most incredible human being I've ever been with, my soul mate. But at the time, we were both in a relationship with other people, so I kept listening to this song, my heart in such pain but also so happy because I finally found this beautiful soul. I dedicated this song to him, becasue I believed we could never be together, so I just wished him the best in life. It was so genuine, I was hurting inside, but I never felt so alive, I just wanted his happiness no matter what. The simple fact of being alive in the same time as he is made me graceful. Some time passed by, and we both broke up our previous relationships, and we just couldn't be apart. We are married now, and this song still breaks my heart for that "goodbye" I had to say to him, and it also enlights me because every morning I can kiss him again like the first time we finally could be together.
I never comment on youtube videos but I have to do that now! Since I met this band I listen when I go to sleep and I start to think about things good and bad that pass me by in this life. Thanks for that, your music makes me feel in the way that I can't explain, it's so melancholic, nostalgic, it's touching! I'm 22years old and I'm from Brazil. Keep doing that great job, this so unic rhythm.
i'm starting to do the same...listening to them every night. strange how music can put two random strangers in a similar mindset. Hope your life is going smoothly even 4 years later.
Delicious flourishing saturated guitar licks amid a crooning heartfelt vocal with tight groovy rocking drum n bass. This is music for Queens and Kings princes and princesses. Welcome to Palace (deep bow)

Looking into her eyes. To realize how precious our time. Her laugh, her smile, the way she compiles. Both fierce and fragile. Surrounded by the feeling, it consumes the air that I'm breathing.

Currently listening tho this for the first time. I am on my way to a thing which could change my life positively. But I feel like this song is a breakupsong for my old chapter. I am becoming myself more and more and I am greatfull. Have a good day!
New Year’s Eve 2023: this song recaps my whole year, and all the years since I left my family in 2020. Something about this year shines extra bright… leaving a toxic relationship is never easy. I see the light
I found this song years ago and still come back after all this time to read the comments of people who just found it. Warms my heart to see it in good hands, thanks Palace. :)
I listened to this song every morning for months. And then he died. I listened to it again and see how maybe the universe spoke before I knew how to listen.
3:02 ... That part of the song that I keep repeating is simply mesmerizing! It's like the music just takes over my soul and I can't help but get lost in the rhythm. Every time that part comes on, it's like a burst of energy that just lifts me up and carries me away. It's the kind of thing that I could listen to on repeat for hours and never get tired of. (And I do it :))) )
What an uplifting song post break up. "I know it's fine to end our time. Be safe, be true and I'll think of you...." Sad to know all things come to an end, but they don't have to end terribly. Thank you for that great reminder! I love every single one of your songs, your beautiful melodies and poetic lyrics.
I love this song too much. My partner and I got together 2019 November. It's not been long, but it seems like a lifetime with them. We were long distance but knew already that there is another timer in the future, that of me leaving for education across the continent in September 2020. We are not going to separate, but we know that seeing each other after a whole year or two would be too difficult for us. We were going to cherish our time together. They were going to visit every weekend possible so as to make the most of it. But now, now the world stands still. We are both in our own cities, in our homes, quarantined and put away. Waiting and looking through the glass at our limited time flying away right in front of our eyes. I love them. And I hope more than ever that we make it to the end of our postgraduations with us intact and still in love. But it's too optimistic, 2020 hasn't given the world too many reasons to feel that way. But in case we don't make it through, I want to remember this specific bubble of time when we were so deeply in love. And this song somehow speaks for it all. Thank you, Palace.

[Verse 1]
Sundown
Ever so slow now
Remind me I'm a free man
Free-er than I've been
It's something I'm feeling
I'm wonderfully breathing
Blessed in the rainfall
Cleansed like the downpour
[Pre-Chorus]
And I know it's fine to end our time
Be safe, be true, and I'll think of you
[Chorus]
Live well, you reap what you sow
The future is bright if we can ebb with the flow
You're something, I'm nothing, we were everything
Anything to save me from the goodness she gave me
[Verse 2]
Moonrise
Over my headlights
And I'm on the right trail
I've taken my life there
And tied it upside down
You're living for that sweet sound
You laugh like the warm sun
Cuts through me like the only one
[Pre-Chorus]
And I know it's fine to end our time
Be safe, be true, and I'll think of you
[Chorus]
Live well, you reap what you sow
The future is bright if we can ebb with the flow
You're something, I'm nothing, we were everything
Anything to save me from the goodness she gave me
[Bridge]
It's nothing less, a mystery
How it came to this I see
And if it comes to this I know
We'll have had more than most did so
In a dream that I have had
We departed, ended what we had started
And I pray it doesn't come to that
If it does thanks for the love we had
[Chorus]
Live well, you reap what you sow
The future is bright if we can ebb with the flow
You're something, I'm nothing, we were everything
Anything to save me from the goodness she gave me
Live well, you reap what you sow
The future is bright if we can ebb with the flow
You're something, I'm nothing, we were everything
Anything to save me from the goodness she gave me
Thank for lyrics

Currently listening tho this for the first time. I am on my way to a thing which could change my life positively. But I feel like this song is a breakupsong for my old chapter. I am becoming myself more and more and I am greatfull.
Have a good day!
Howd it go? Hope everything worked out for You :)
These guys have got a GREAT sound. I really like the tone in their guitars.
New Year’s Eve 2023: this song recaps my whole year, and all the years since I left my family in 2020. Something about this year shines extra bright… leaving a toxic relationship is never easy. I see the light
This must be the most underrated song I can think of.
I found this song years ago and still come back after all this time to read the comments of people who just found it. Warms my heart to see it in good hands, thanks Palace. :)
This song is the perfect song. Just a great chill vibe
I listened to this song every morning for months. And then he died. I listened to it again and see how maybe the universe spoke before I knew how to listen.
This song is beautiful. Big smile every time I listen

What song is more perfect than this to just relax and chill at home or by the pool
Good feels song right here.
favorite band ever.. no joke
(And I do it :))) )
this band is just so good i started crying
❤❤❤ the music touches deep emotions
Heard this when i was around 20, now im 24 and this still feels as good as the first time listening.
Someone make a 10 hour loop of this plleeeaaaseee. It so good 😭
What an uplifting song post break up. "I know it's fine to end our time. Be safe, be true and I'll think of you...."
Sad to know all things come to an end, but they don't have to end terribly.
I hope yall break up 💀💀💀🥲🥲🥲😭
Dude your songs are constantly getting stuck in my head. I have no idea how your not poping off everywhere!
the feelings this song brings to the surface just seems unreal for the times we are currently going thru in our world. Stay safe and happy everyone.
