The part I think people don't talk about enough is how she said "You don't have to accept us, you just have to take our money." She really gave that low-life one last chance to just let them shop and give them business all while being judged by his scornful little eyes. She just wanted the best for her people and didn't mind being looked down on while handing over her hard earned money. She may be ruthless but deep down there are hints of those moments when she is the nicest person willing to sacrifice for others.

THIS....THIS is a MUST see show! The dynamic of the actors, the storylines, the performances... I laughed, I cried, I cheered... It's no wonder the show is nominated for 10 awards. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you do. The LGBTQIA community is a STRONG community...because it has to be. This show captures all that... The strength, the hurt, the triumphs...the LOVE! I'm a fan, ALWAYS!

I had seen some pose clips from TH-cam and some of them showed you know, the fight between Elektra and her former children and I was worried that this scene "would be before" their fight but I'm glad that all the fights were in season 1 and watching the clips again I finally know that they all gonna be good together again in the next season. Yes, that was one of the most unrealistic parts of the show that they get clocked so often, I literally thought Lulu was played by a cis woman for over a year.

I don't know able the boss and his employee, but Elektra is played by Dominique Jackson, Blanca by Michaela Jae Rodriguez, Lulu by Hailie Sahar, and at the very end Angel is played by Indya Moore.
Everyone's talking about Elektra's read(as they should) but no one is talking about the other two women's incredible display of strength as well. One says "excuse me, we are women!" defending herself against the transphobic wedding planner, and the other one takes off her earring and was 100% ready to fight that man. Later, she takes his champagne and laughs at him. Birds of a feather flock together, they are ALL powerhouse women, not just Elektra! 😇
