- In this video we check out one of the most interesting festivals in El Salvador... El Festival de los Farolitos!! This festival was recommended to us by a commenter, and we were thrilled to be in the area while it took place! The festival is located in a few cities on the Ruta de los Flores, but the largest festival is help in Ahuachapan. This beautiful pueblo is full of uniqueness and color, and with the lanterns shining in the night sky, it was EVEN BETTER! This has been one of our favorite experiences in El Salvador and we hope you enjoy the video :)

I just saw your video, my dear friends, I love how much you enjoyed the festival of the lanterns, it just gives me a lot of shame and anger at the same time for what that lady without manners shouted at you, believe me that the good Salvadorans are more and I think you have been able to prove it yourselves, believe me if it were not for the language barrier you would have made many nice friendships and I mean that when we see Latin people we greet them as if they were one of us but when we see American tourists we feel intimidated because many of us do not speak English very well, even so you are and will always be more than welcome, many blessings to you, you are very much loved.

Always prefer AirBnb with A/C - is better having it and not needing it than not having it :) - That being said, Oct-Jan are usually similar to Los Angeles
Hello! :) We prefer ac but some places do not have any! We did fine in Juayua (ruta de las flores) without it but definitely helpful by the coast! we are always sweating here haha
