Tężnie w Ciechocinku POV, 5.02.2024

🇵🇱W Ciechocinku znajdują się trzy tężnie solankowe ustawione w kształcie podkowy.
Ich budowa trwała w sumie od 1824 do 1859 roku. Podstawę tężni stanowi około 7000 wbitych w ziemię dębowych pali, na których umieszczono świerkowo-sosnową konstrukcję wypełnioną tarniną, po której spływa solanka.
Wysokość tężni to niemal 16 m, zaś ich łączna długość to 1,7 km. Solankę do tężni pompowana jest ze źródła nr 11 i wtłaczana na górę do korytek zainstalowanych na ich szczycie. Stąd solanka przesącza się kroplami po ścianach tężni i pod wpływem wiatru i promieni słonecznych intensywnie paruje. Wokół tężni tworzy się bogaty w jod mikroklimat tworzący naturalne, lecznicze inhalatorium.
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿In Ciechocinek there are three brine graduation towers arranged in the shape of a horseshoe.
Their construction lasted in total from 1824 to 1859. The base of the graduation towers consists of about 7,000 oak piles driven into the ground, on which a spruce and pine structure filled with blackthorn is placed, along which the brine flows.
The graduation towers are almost 16 m high, while their total length is 1.7 km. The brine is pumped into the graduation towers from spring No. 11 and forced upwards into troughs installed on top of them. From here, the brine seeps drop by drop down the walls of the graduation tower and, under the influence of wind and sunlight, evaporates intensively. A microclimate rich in iodine is created around the graduation tower, creating a natural healing inhalatorium.
