That 8th inning was what we've needed from the Astros for a while now. Yainer's come in clutch a lot for us and now he's done it again. Now I just hope that Kyle is okay because that would be a huge loss for us. Good game Cardinals
@@TLAM20 pesky pole at least stands for something, will say yankee stadium is a joke. All the AL East teams stadiums are weird. And Astros having a hill in CF would be better then their left field

Unfortunately I think many years of repeated success have made the astros fan base a bit more like Yankees fans...I was disappointed to hear it but not exactly surprised.
Wasted a good performance by Gibson. StL bullpen let him down, and defense didn't help enough tonight. Too many errors. People complaining about Winn getting days off need to take note of his defense lapses when he's tired, not just his hitting streak.
Nice come-back win for the home team. Bregman looks like he's (hopefully) coming out of his funk. Hated to see King Tuck go into the clubhouse with that injury. The team can't afford to lose him for an extended amount of time. I have no idea what the front office is gonna do about the disaster at first base. Singleton was never the answer (a negative WAR for crying out loud!) but for some reason they keep him because he'll hit a booming home run once every 12-15 games. Otherwise it's a strikeout. Abreu just needs to be given his outright release and the team eat his salary. Surely there's a youngster in the minors that can do better than those two. I've lobbied for Dubon to be given the job because his bat would be a great every-day addition to the line up. Nice win to start the series, lads. Get some rest and do it again tomorrow. GO STROS!
Think Scott II would be pulled up to play defense in late innings. Jojo facing 3 right hitters does not remember a short porch exists in ASTRO Stadium.
Winning or losing a game doesn't matter. Uploads of highlights are embargoed until local news broadcast of both participating teams is over. MLB is contractually required to give 1st right to baseball highlights to the local news, not to you tube. So if a team is playing a west coast team in a night game, it could be 2AM or later before highlights can be shown on you tube. Doesn't matter who is the home team, or who won. The same rule applies to day games, so it might be 9PM before an afternoon game can be shown on you tube (if the highlights are available to local news in time to be on 6 o'clock news).
@@rayrussell6258 if it doesn’t matter who won, then why did MLB upload the game where the Astros won later than when they lost? And replace him with who? Dubon? I love Dubie but we haven’t seen enough of him playing 3rd base to know if he’s good enough to make the defensive plays that Bregman makes. Why do so many Astros fans want to trade Breggy or anybody else that has a slow start to a season? It’s like you guys don’t understand baseball. Just because he’s starting off slow doesn’t mean he will continue being bad. The season is only 1/3rd over. So much baseball left for him to play. Chill man.
