This version, and the Saturn version are both awful, the bubble physics in Bubble Bobble are broken in both versions (and the PC version also released back then, Empire Interactive would release their own version years later, and is awesome), and Rainbow Islands is missing the hidden final 3 islands for the games best ending. I hear it is based off of the Amiga version, which is also missing the 3 hidden islands.
Rainbow Islands was a brutal game. I view it favourably but from a distance, like another man may look at a crocodile in a river he could fish in.
