Joss grew up listening to her parents Aretha albums....those were only influences in music growing up, so it was only natural that she has so much soul, I love Joss! I wish people would stop saying she's trying to be black....she's not, she's just an outstanding artist, with an outstanding soulful voice!!

Joss Stone is, IMHO, the best singer in the business today ... one of the all-time greats ... in the very first rank. Soul is about feeling ... not about color. Janis Joplin said that 40 years ago. She was right. Anybody can have soul. I honor black artists. Dig deep into my faves and see for yourself. Joss!!!
