I just want to thank you again for posting these years ago. I have listened to them every morning for the last two years and even some before that. It has been so helpful in my walk. I have severe muscle spasms in my neck and back and it's very hard for me to read without getting nauseous. So again, thank you brother!!

James was my mother's favorite book in The New Testament, and it's easy to understand why. It certainly is a favorite of mine as well. Explaining that faith without works is dead is so important to understand. So many people are taught that the simple declaration that they believe in Jesus will save them. However, if we don't follow His teachings, how can we say that we are believers?
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus says that many will say to Him how they cast out devils in His name and done other such things, but He will tell them, "I never knew you. Depart from Me, ye that work iniquity." He explains the things they neglected to do which would have shown that they truly believed in Him. It's located in Matthew, Chapters 5-7. We should all read that often.
    Thank you for posting this.

I agree. Show me your evidence. But it makes me feel bad because I have congenital heart disease and am almost completely bedfast. I want so badly to serve. I would gladly do any task. I did have something to show when I was young. My love is strong...and if I'm asked to answer before the throne I plan on asking for my lawyer. My advocate is Jesus.

Mercy and grace thats all we need to be save, confess and trust the Lord to save you, after you saved, then thats the time to show to othersthat you are saved by your good works for Christ sake, your doing good works not be save but thats the result being save.. Thats the evidence that your save if your doing the will of the father, but works cannot save you only Jesus Christ, He pay our sins and die for our sins, ephesians 2:8,9.

@@noradiolola8472 Exactly! So many wrongly misuse James chapter 2, to try to proove a works-based salvation. They always seem to forget Ephesians 2: 8-9.
What James is actually saying is if you talk the talk, then walk the walk. Like God told Samuel. Man looks at the outward appearance. So make sure people see you doing works. And, speak peaceably to others so that they will be drawn closer to God. That is what he is saying.
We are saved not by good works, but are saved unto good works. That were set aside before time. God bless you and yours.

The New Testament Epistle of James was written before the Crucifixion.

@@jimmymays1003 My point exactly. Don't be dumb enough to think that God would inspire an epistle after the Crucifixion that would never hint at any consequence of the Crucifixion. Spoiler Alert: There isn't any hint of the Crucifixion or it's consequences in James, ergo: A pre Crucifixion epistle.

The churches didn’t even start until after the resurrection and the day of Pentecost. James was a pillar of local body of Christ in Jerusalem. If Jesus was still walking around there would be no need for a letter from James. But if you have proof, not your opinion, please share

Still waiting for your scriptures that state James was written while Christ still walked the earth? Can’t find any?
