- The Norfolk & Western Railway's steam locomotive fleet remains legendary. In this video, we take a look a few of the classes of locomotive that the N&W used in passenger service, either as purpose built or dual service locomotives. We will be taking a look at the A Class, the K2 Class, and the J Class locomotives, as well as touching briefly on the history of each.
A few of these HO scale models have been customized to improve their appearance.
A superb, large, layout featuring stellar N&W steam power - including the mighty A's and J's on both passenger and freight turns. Relive awesome N&W steam scenes on this magnificent layout. Thanks so much for sharing!
Love the little K2 and the J-class. I’m surprised N&W kept their steam motive power until 1959. Other roads deadlined their steam way earlier (D&H - 1953 along with the demolition of many roundhouses on the road).
Another great video!
Nice work Jimmy. Thanks for producing this and sharing it.
Very nice! Thanks for sharing.
Nice video, love it.
What's with the front engine on the class A bouncing up and down?
I love it. Thats all I have to say
