People ALL AROUND THE WORLD, no matter the language, can understand and feel this. Michael got criticized for being corny and grandiose. But he wanted to get a message across for everybody. He was known around the whole world, and his critics often forgot he used dramatics and images like these here to talk to all who wanted to listen. He was a very intelligent and smart man, but the best was his huge heart!
This song is so powerful and still relevant in 2024. This performance always gets me emotional, but after the Ukraine situation, it truly makes me sad to watch it. this song is a true masterpiece. Yes, you're right bud, Today's music is all about money and some stupid social media numbers, but Michael Jackson's music was all about making the world a better place and spreading love. That's why I always say, "There will never be another Michael Jackson." A True LEGEND.
Yeah he is a true legend! And not just the ukraine war tho even the israel-palestine war & middle East is very unstable rn.Thousands of innocent people and children dying every day. So much global tension going around as well. I just hope a 3rd world War doesn't start. So yeah we need to share MJ's message to everyone 🩵
@@dnassassin1724 Yeah, there's a lot shi going on around the world rn and thousands of innocent people and children are dying in wars that have nothing to do with them. It's really depressing 😔
Can you watch Smooth Criminal from the This Is It rehearsals. (These were rehearsals for his upcoming final tour, but he died before getting to go up on stage again). Great reaction as always ❤
Please react to Michael Jackson's "We've Had Enough". It's an unreleased song, but it's very similar to Earth song, which also describes the sad things that have been going on lately. way ahead of his time and very relevant. And don't forget to pull up the lyrics video.
Wonderful reaction, comrade and fellow fan. I have nothing to add. I can give you some tidbits, though. Like, on the topic of heros, right now I can't remember who usually tells this story, it could be one of MJ's sound engineers Brad Sundberg but it could also be someone from the band or something. But when this song was played in Romania as part of the tour, this was merely years after Ceaușescu's more and more authocratic rule had been put to an end through a violent revolution, followed by unrests with very bloody ethnic clashes between Hungarians and Romanians and protests from mistrust of the new democratic system and election results also ending in violence. All while most neighbouring countries went through wars and violence, Bosnia/Serbia/Kroatia not least, ending up in genocide. So, this is the context when Michael Jackson in 1996, starts the whole tour in the Czech Republic, then goes to Hungary and Romania (followed by Russia and Poland). In Romania there's an attendence of 70 000 people. When the tank rolls out, the audience suddenly goes dead silence. 70 000 people and except from the sounds from the stage, one could hear a pin drop. All the motions with the soldier pointing the gun at people, at MJ, the child, them crying, everything runs through complete silence up until the very end, then slowly people in the back starts clapping and the whole audience just explodes in applaudes. The meaning that performance must have had, for them then and there... I get chills, litteral goose-bumps, just thinking about it. Hero. Or, continuing on the hero-theme, the day or rather night in western Asia, when MJ died, 25th-26th of June 2009; the Iraqis offered the USamericans a temporary cease-fire and put down their arms out of respect for Michael Jackson. Hero. Back to the show number, in the planning of This Is It, the tank is exchanged for a big tractor plow. I think this sais so much about how destructive Michael Jackson saw that plow within the meaning of the song. It was and is exchangeable with a tank. That's the damage we to this world, to all of us.
Thanks for sharing all this amazing information! Mj I think just always had a much more clearer and broader vision than us. Things that mere people don't see or at least don't try to see. MJ did see all that. How people harming themselves and the nature. The thing that is keeping everything balanced in this ecosystem. People are destroying it continuously and relentlessly. Even now you see people they just never try to learn or again see the bigger picture. Always about selfish goals and desire. Making factories and industries. And also even now so many wars going around. The global tension is at its peak rn. I just wish a 3rd world War doesn't break out. So yeah we need MJ's message to reach everyone. So everyone can see and understand 🩵
@@dnassassin1724 Very true. Yes, I'm very worried too, about the western support of Israeli aggression to support genocide and ethnic cleansing, and the seeming apathy of the rest of the world. This could really lead to a third world war, as you say. We've got so strong war-industrial complexes that our "leaders" have to chose violence to solve just about everything. Instead of listening to their peoples, they need to feed their war machines. To make this possible, they incite hate rather than consideration and flat out lies. Trying to create war-hungry nations, where the extreme right grows and flourishes without anyone thinking it a problem since they support the same dynamics. We truely need the voice of peace and the currage of humility, of backing down and righting wrongs, amongst these mighty men. To pause and think, what we are destroying right now can't really - in anyone's mind - be worth whatever it is we are trying to gain? If we want people to stop hating us, maybe first look att how we've treated them instead of just flexing our muscles even more? Maybe atleast make sure they are treated in a way we would agree to, before trying to hit them into fear of acting on their hatred. Same goes for countries.
