One of the best moments in endgame is when cap was ready to fight the whole of thanos' army by himself, right before all the portals opend up.

The only way to put Cap down for good is to kill him. And good luck with that. Tony Stark is the Face of the MCU. Cap is the heart.
When I saw that scene, my mind went straight to his speech in Winter Soldier.

Thanos is so unbelievably strong that he literally doesn't even have to take Steve seriously, but Cap doesn't care. His absolute will and the look of determination in his eyes against something so much more stronger than him says everything about his character you could want to know :'(

He was straight up worthy on his merits alone. Endgame really closed 3 whole ass circles in one go, the movie was paced but i dont give a F, it paid off everything thats been building for a decade plus. What an amazing thing we all got to experience together across the globe.
Perfect! I feel like Caps story has been slightly overshadowed by Tony’s story which don’t get me wrong is extremely important and amazing. But it’s so nice for Cap to get a bit of appreciation.

@@plazmatic2664 it's mainly Tony fans (I'm one myself, though Steve is my favorite) that feel indignant that people could possibly like Steve more. Usually the fans that only like Tony because he started the MCU. Again, not bashing Tony, he's such an amazing character with incredible growth, there's just unfortunately a good portion of his fanbase that haven't realized liking Iron Man and liking Cap aren't mutually exclusive.
Cap became my hero for the sheer fact that no matter how many time you knocked him down and tried to break him he always tried to remain a good man. He gets back up and he keeps trying. An inspiration for a country but an inspiration for how a good human being should be. Cap is more than a mantle for a country you could be just like him, just don’t forget to be the best version of yourself and don’t give up on others but most importantly don’t give up on yourself.

Captain America/Steve Rogers really deserved that happy ending in endgame after all he has gone through, he’s one of my favorite MCU characters. You gotta admit Steve had the biggest heart and spirit among all the Avengers. Steve was Captain America long before the super solder serum experiment because of his heart and determination not cause of his abilities. You will greatly be missed Captain America 😩😢😭

Tony didn't know him well back then
Tony held so much resentment for Cap. His father idolized him while he treated Tony as an afterthought. All Tony saw out of Cap was another one of his fathers creations. The tesseract manipulating the teams heads didn’t help it either. He didn’t realize that Steve would’ve served, and put his life on the line without the serum if MEPs would’ve passed him. That’s the thing about Steve that I think most people don’t understand. He was always special. Even at his weakest he was willing to give everything he had until it was impossible for him to keep going. He doesn’t have a character arc or a changing personality because Steve has always been a good person. Pure of heart, and the willpower of only the bravest of warriors. That was all there before the serum.
They both proved each other and themselves wrong 🔥 thats the beauty of it

Out of the main 6 avengers, Cap is definetly my favorite. He just has so many layers to him and his relentless optimism and leadership is just something that is so likeable about him. Not only that, but he’s got a dope suit and one of the most interesting fighting styles out of the whole Marvel roster. Not to mention, he has one of the best trilogies of superhero movies ever

Because all they give a shit about is comedy and nostalgia now and not an incredible story. All cash grab garbage stuff now.
The magic of super heroes is, we can't make them reality. They're always gonna be fiction and we know that. So in order to live with that truth we still try to bring them in our world.
We do that by being like them. Maybe not physically with super powers etc. But by being like them mentally and in the heart and sharing their principles. That's as close as we can get to a super hero and it's probably the only way. So we're damn sure gonna try it.
To inspire those lonely kids on the playground who don't have anyone to play with or parents who're not there for them or raise them poorly or those who get bullied in school. We give them hope for a wonderful future full of those "super heroes" they need.
We are those super heroes. And we will spread hope around the world.

And plus in the video the doctor who invented the serum said to him if your good you become better, and if your bad then it’s worse . So it’s caps will that drove him to become who he is today
In a way just like Tony proved that he can sacrfice himself for the greater good Cap proved Tony wrong that he's more than just the serum.

Sacrificed his life for countless many of people , went in the ice was 70 years , watched his best friend fall to his death only to realize that he’s been tortured for 70 years to hate him , watch the love of his life forget about him because of the disease she had , carried her casket and had to choose between his 2 best friends in civil war , leaving one to hate him . He definitely earns my respect.

Tony Stark is my favorite character, because in many ways my life is like a reflection of his. I was doing the wrong thing and I was silver-spooned for a long time until life taught me a tough lesson. I got up willing to do whatever it takes to right my wrongs and protect the people I love. But Captain America will always make my heart warm. His absolute devotion to being a good man is strange to me because I'm not that good, I want to be but I'm not intrinsically good. But he is, and it is appealing, powerful, and it draws me in and makes me want to emulate his character. This video caught so many emotions into one place, incredible edit. Thank you
Steve's life reminds me of mine I'm like him, I always want to do the right thing but many times you have to face the consequences of your actions but I'm ready, I'm sixteen years old and I've done a lot of bad things but now I truly want to fight in what I believe in so i think I'm like Steve ♥️, i want to be like him even if he's a movie character

Whenever I'm not sure what to do in life or about a situation, I always ask myself what Steve would do. It never fails.
No matter how many fingers Tony will snap, no matter how strong thor will be, Steve Rogers will always be the best mcu character (best character of all time perhaps?). He is an honest, good man. His story is heartbreaking and taught us so many things. A lot of us feel out of time sometimes. Steve was literally a man out of time. He is my inspiration. Even after all these things that happened to him, he didn't change. He was still a good man. Just a kid from Brooklyn.

When you realistically look at that moment, some would say he is crazy. But that moment is the embodiment of Steve....so much heart
The emotional core of the entire saga grows from that moment where he looks at Carter through the window.
Although Cap was my favorite Avenger, I think Cap and Tony ultimately changed each other for the better; Tony showed Cap that it’s okay to put yourself first sometimes and being a hero shouldn’t exclude you from being a human and wanting to have an ordinary life. For Tony, Cap showed that you don’t need a technological suit or a state of the art shield to be a hero-all you need is the heart and the will to make the ultimate sacrifice play.
I’m prepared to cry and be amazed and I’ve only just clicked on this.
When he went to face thanos and his army alone before reinforcements I just was thinking of that speech from civil war when he says “my faiths in people and for the most part they haven’t let me down...so that’s why I can’t let them down either”.
Not only was he the ultimate avenger but the ultimate human...humility, bravery, just, wise, calculated and determined. Every man should strive to be as good as Captain America as a person
One of the best if not the best edit of captain America,he deserves it,always fighting for the right cause,and never got lucky enough to live his own life,if it wasn't for the stones we would just see a man who fought for his nation all day and forgot to have his simple life.
I'm still so upset with Marvel for ending Captain America's arc, but Steve deserved it 100%. He spent his whole life doing things for other people, so it's only right that he did one thing for himself: returning to his own time; to his own life.

Steve became my favourite character ever since one line in The First Avenger.
“I don’t want to kill anyone. I don’t like bullies. I don’t care where they come from.”
He spoke a truth that resonates in today’s day and age. Bullies have no place in this world, no matter where they are from, their beliefs, or their ideals.
The fact that throughout the franchise -

Gave chills down the spine everytime from fighting the bully on street, fighting Ironman and even with his eyes facing Thanos and his army❤
As much as I adored last year's video, this year's has to be the best. I've always seen Steve story as one of the hardest to portray and you've done it so well both times. You build towards his selflessness and bravery, starting by characterizing him and making us understand why he became such a "symbol to the nation". Love how you showed that he was lost in time, lost with himself but has always had one goal, protect the innocent. I have never spoken truer words : you never disappoint. You are the best at crafting videos like this, it takes so much to edit Steve in a way that will make us understand his journey, but you did. You are such a mastermind because this looks so easy, yet it has to be a mindfuck to make this.
You already know I love everything about this and that this second part is one of my favorite you made. When the "I've been on my own since I was 18..." starting playing with the clip of the Avengers came in, my soul went out in the f*cking space.
I have been watching this edit so many times already and I can safely say that the feeling that I feel in my stomach is always the same, excitement, nostalgia, sadness and feel/understand the beauty that you've made. Absolutely wonderful, couldn't have imagined a better one for the captain.

I feel like, this is a really powerful line. Steve won’t sacrifice Vision’s life. Then Vision compares it to the time he sacrificed himself to save millions of others (in the first avenger).
To me this is about Steve trying to save everyone. He puts his faith in people. That they’ll live, and create, and do amazing things. He’s always wanted to do right by other people.
And he’d rather fight and die for them instead of letting any single one person die.
One year since -
Captain America lifted the hammer and proved you don't need to be a god, cursed with knowledge or have unlimited power to be worthy.
It still makes me sad that it was the end of an era but i think he did his part and i was so happy that he finally got to live his life with his love and the movie ended with their dance.
