    Thanks for showing the details like sewing down the ends of the tape. Figuring out small things like that take so much time.

    Nice work on all of that. I know what it takes for time to do these in and out to that depth of detail, you are a perfectionist.

    Great Tutorial. I actually already made a bag using this pattern. I am going to use this same style pattern but increase it's size for a two burner camping stove. Would you do another one and sew some interfacing foam with the binding tape? This is to pad the case/bag and protect it from bumps. Most all backpacks have foam padding/interfacing sewn into the binding tape.

    • @mdmeltdown9245
      @mdmeltdown9245 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The stove is 47cm x 9cm x 33cm roughly

      Maybe I gonna do a Tutorial using foam padding in the future🤘😎 feels awesome that you love my Work! Cheers!

      @@AdventureGearProjects Great! How do you come up with the ratio of lengths for your patterns? Also, what kind of material would you use to cover the foam?

    • @AdventureGearProjects
      @AdventureGearProjects  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mdmeltdown9245 well... It is trial and error... I test out all my patterns... And I would recommend 770D Cordura 🤘😎

      @@AdventureGearProjects Always wondered how the foam or acrylic sheet, etc. inserts for sturdiness or padding affect the process, because presumably you can't flip it inside out at the end, right? Please make that video some day!

    I see binding tape on some gear but not others. What is it’s purpose? To add shape and rigidity? Or just to protect seems a bit more?

    • @AdventureGearProjects
      @AdventureGearProjects  ปีที่แล้ว

      Binding tape has the purpose to protect seems and to prevent materials from fraying like cotton or uncoated Nylon. And it gives the interior or outside magerial a more cleaner look. But there are certain more applications for binding tape!
