I watched several videos so I could install my glass screen protector correctly on my new iPad. Your video was THE BEST one I watched - very easy to follow, and was most helpful. One tip I did pick up on another video I can share with everyone: Wash your hands thoroughly before starting the installation process. This will remove the natural oils that are on our hands as well as any sort of dirt.. Then dry your hands really, really well. Clean, dry hands will get you off to a great start. BTY, I enjoyed the music on your video - nice! Thank you for your clear demonstration and helping me do the installation perfectly - perfectly aligned - and no air bubbles whatsoever!! Five star video!
So easy to get the bubbles out! Watch the directions video a couple times before you start - looks great!
You don't even need the hinges. Once you line it up right above it and set it down, the bubbles just dissolve. Great product.

+Gaming Noe no, I didn't cracked my screen. But i guess it works for you. The protective glass will protect and cover the cracked screen, hence it is safer.
But, you will still see the cracked on your screen as this is just another clear glass.
I used this same method installing tempered glass on my phone and tablet, thanks!!
Tips to keep dust particles out: It's better if you install it in a brand new device where the plastic is still covering the screen. Install it in the bathroom after letting the hot water run a few minutes, the steam will remove any dust particles in the air so they wont fall on the screen and protector while applying it.
+David C. just got this after ordering of amazon 5pm Thursday,came today 11am on a sunday lol by yodel,delivery date was suppose to be tomorrow monday 19th.got a new ipad mini 2 so got this to protect the screen, should be easier installing on new device, wish me luck.

Great trick of using stickers to keep it aligned. I had a different brand screen protector, I used 3 pieces of tape as the "hinges" and it worked fine.
Only works if you have nice broad strong stickers, tried it with my one and it failed to support the weight.
The two times I've used an Anker screen protector (9H Tempered Glass) and the two times I've followed this video, I've had:
0 air bubbles
0 trapped particles of dust.
They are the ONLY two times I've been able to do that lol. I love the product I bought from Anker and this instruction video is perfect.

Like the others commented, definitely watch the video a few times. Careful at the video time 1:25 to 1:45. The sticker used as a tab to pull the screen up and over into place to adhere to the screen can accidentally come off as it did when I tried to pull the "hinge" taught to align the home button circle. The sticker serving as the tab came right off and the screen fell face first onto the iPad and not in the right position. I quickly lifted the screen with a fingernail before it all began to adhere itself to the screen. I was able to guide it correctly without using a sticker...I just guided it in place trying to only touch the edge of the glass screen. It worked but be careful that the stickers are not going to fall off.

Never installed a glass protector using the hinges. However, it worked great! No air bubbles. ZERO! I strongly recommend watching the video a few times to ensure you know the right steps. Very impresses. Perfect alignment.
Make sure the surface is really really dry, otherwise you get lovely little tiny tiny patches of moisture underneath :D. Also your stickers very well might suck and fail at the last minute as you are lowering it, don't panic just maneuver it on the edges and try not to finger print the sticky side and line it up manually.

Very nice! I got all the stickers you have for holding the protector in place to position it on the tablet. Too bad the company didn't tell me how to use the stickers as hinges to get the film in the right place.If I hadn't found your video I'd have been fooling around trying to get it sorted out by hand, and probably bitching it up too!! I think absent the pre-made stickers you could substitute Scotch tape or masking tape to make the temporary 'hinges'. Great stuff thank you very much! My protector was broken on arrival so I got to try and install it anyway until I could get a replacement.

Nice job! Best of the three vids that I have seen. Putting the guide stickers on first is a good idea.
The only thing I'll be doing differently is to wipe (or air blast) the plastic sheet that gets peeled off to make sure no dust flies off and lands on the screen when removing the sheet.
Would it be better to have the sheet removal tab be on the opposite side of the guide sticker hinge?

Worked OK except, during the process, when applying the screen protector to the hinge stickers, make sure you press sufficiently to ensure they don't separate when moved. After cleaning the iPad surface, I pulled the tab to remove the adhesive cover, and one of the hinge stickers came detached, so I was forced to place the protector onto the iPad by eyeing the on/off switch location - this was fine and I have managed to recover the situation, but was a hassle when the idea is not to touch any of the parts and avoiding dust contamination etc...

I just installed mine. I got 3 large bubbles. I'm crossing my fingers that they go away like the instructions say they should.
I still get a giant bubble on the right side and six big bubbles all around, i followed this exact ugh

I just used this now and even after using the alcohol wipes and the microfiber cloth AND the dust sticker, I still managed to get 4 air bubbles. The tiniest bit of residue from the microfiber cloth has screwed me over... I can tell it's a quality product but the installation cloth is rubbish.. I'll just make do with it on, including the bubbles 😒

never explained what the 2 tiny circle stickers that came in three packages are for. ones is silver, one is black. the size of Siri button but who would want to put a sticker there? this sticker is not concave or flexible

I couldn't get the hard case I bought off the phone so i just stuck the screen protector on. I didn't get any bubbles except the sides of the screen along the lines have a straight area where I couldn't get it off. Is there a way to get it out?
