    I take the pill and I have a daughter. I took the pill after I married at 20 so I could finish my education. I decided to have a child towards the end of my Masters degree (at 24). She is the greatest blessing to me and I am so glad that thanks to the pill I was able to plan these things out. I'm now pursuing a PhD and planning on my 2nd, thanks Birth control!

    The pill not only prevents unwanted pregnancy but it also helps me. I have polysistic -ovarian syndrome, which means my hormones are crazy, the pill regulates them and helps me live normally.

    The pill allowed me to finish my education BEFORE having my family AND I could have sex without the worry of pregnancy! I have 2 children and would have stayed barefoot and pregnant without the help of Planned Parenthood - it's a blessing for all people who want to plan their families.

    They never give proper credit and acknowledge to the real inventors when they are from another country, the true scientists inventor of the pill was Luis Miramontes a Mexican scientist:
    "Among his multiple contributions to world science is the synthesis on October 15, 1951, when Miramontes was only 26 years old, of norethisterone (norethindrone), that was to become the progestin used in one of the first three oral contraceptives (combined oral contraceptive pills). For this reason, Luis Miramontes is considered by Lilia Miramontes to be its inventor.[1] Carl Djerassi, Luis Miramontes and George Rosenkranz of the Mexican chemical company Syntex are listed on the patent for norethisterone as its co-inventors. Djerassi "is now known sometimes as the 'Father of the Pill'".[2] The historians, nevertheless, agree that the invention, or the first synthesis, is the work of Miramontes.[3][4] For example, the Nobel laureate Max Perutz[5] states that "On October 15th, 1951, the chemistry student Luis Miramontes, working under the direction of Djerassi and the director of the laboratory Jorge Rosenkranz synthesized the compound". Djerassi himself affirms that it was, in fact, Miramontes who conducted the last step of the first synthesis of the compound: "On 15 October 1951, Luis Miramontes, a young Mexican chemist doing his undergraduate bachelor's thesis work at Syntex completed the synthesis of the 19-nor-17α-ethynyltestosterone or, for short 'norethisterone'-which turned out to be the first oral contraceptive to be synthesized."

      so true.Nationalism can get in the way of truth sometimes.I saw the video and thought it better to read comments lest am being fed propaganda.That moment when it said with absoluteness that a woman invented it,my media literate instincts pushed me to the comment section.Not that am hating on women inventors,but coz these days everything is politicised to an extent you need to counter check truth

    Yeah, I see what you mean. Women who can't afford health care shouldn't have access to it. Breast cancer is really just a punishment to poor women right?

    I don’t take the pill for planned parenthood but I take it cause I have PCOS. My menstrual was on for 2years and 8months. I was severely anemic and the pill was the only thing to help stop the bleeding. I’m still currently on it to help regulate my menstrual until I find another solution.

    I’m getting the pill when I’m 18 because I’m 17 and my mom refuses me being on it as a minor because she’s anti abortion and birth control she’s very rude about it but I’m fully PRO CHOICE

    @J1Militans Children should not be viewed as punishment for making an honest mistake. It's the same rhetoric I hear from people all the time: "If you don't want a child, don't have sex."

    Great video! I never knew the history of Planned Parenthood, until I watched the Life Time tv movie special "Changes of the heart" The Margret Sanger story. No one should be forced to procreate for God, because not everyone is meant to have children. There things to consider, "Can I afford children?", "Is it something that I want?"," Is it the right time?", "How many can I afford?" and you really do not have to complete a marriage by having children. Having children should never be a religious obligation as that should be the choice between the married couple only!

      Well it turns out that Christians are hitting the internet and social media masking as bohemian clean folks and pushing the agenda that the pill is dangerous. In a group that is still highly influenced by peers and public opinion and easily feels placebo effects. So we will see the fall of the pill and then the iud and other devices

    @roguegirl29 Wow. A woman can't enjoy herself or be intimate? How pathetic that you don't support a woman's right to be strong, free, and independent. There is nothing wrong with enjoying sex. Birth control is necessary, and so is fulfillment if one wants to be happy.

      Sex was not designed for people that are not married. Sex was designed for people that are married because it was supposed to produce fruit which we call them today children so if you don't want children you close your legs. God divine order it's not for you to enjoy pleasure tell me how many people that go out there enjoy pleasure and get all kinds of diseases and still get unplanned pregnancy God was the one that made marriage he was the one that made sex and he is the one that made children we all going to stand before God one day he's going to judge us what do we use his body to do the body that you have is not yours it belongs to Jesus Christ or you will answer to him because the Bible says fornicators we have the place in the lake of fire but there is hope if you turn from your sins and except Jesus as your lord and savior he will forgive you. So please repent Jesus Christ is the only way and he is coming soon

    How does having sex have anything to do with education or work?

    • @Inkdbymiami
      @Inkdbymiami 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lol exactly. When I see comments about the pill being the reason they exceeded in life I’m like. Condoms work too and focusing on your goals instead of personal pleasures work as well. But hey, to each their own.
