I’ve always worn the classic brown timberland boat shoe. Has never come down in price and has actually increased in price. It’s a classic. Been buying them for the last 35 years. Great with shorts and chinos.
I have been wearing Sperry Topsiders since 1981 .......I just found a new SPERRY Authentic Original A/O on sale at a Macy's that is closing down for $49.00 bucks !!!!!

I love boat shoes myself . My summer / spring / autumn shoes . / i have timberland myself . They nice but sole going very fast . I do have bata ( made Portugal ) very good quality .I few from Portugal from local small brand and they hold already 6 years . I’m looking forward to buy some SEBAGO .
Hi there mate. Just bought myself a pair of Orca Bay deck shoes, retail was £95 but got them for £66.50 in the sales! Like yourself I am a big fan of deck shoes, really comfortable, look great and go really well with a smart pair of jeans. And I have to agree with you they are much better than the more expensive so called ' designer brands'. Great video mate, well informative.
The Timberlands you have there are different to the classic ones. The difference being on the heel section the original are embossed with Timberland across the back and the original soles whilst soft and pliable are really hard wearing. Ive got the classic blue and whites which are years old and there is almost no wear to the soles. Maybe they've switched production facilites and the quality has dropped slightly?
Ive a few pairs of timberlands and theyve got thicker/harder leather over the years - but theyve all suffered the same fait… the soles go hard then crack
My Timberland leather is much better than my Sperry. Timberland leather is oil tanned while Sperry is chrome tanned leather to me. My Timberland start to develop patina after 1 year.

I love them too,. I have 2 sperry,. 1 mint green suede leather and a gold cup 😀 Getting some timberland soon
This is 2022 I am in fact still wearing them, fond of them and just got my self a new pair of Sebago Docksides
