Hampton Bay Carousel Rainbow 52" Ceiling Fan

Review and demo of a Hampton Bay rainbow ceiling fan
This ceiling fan was made by Air Cool for Hampton Bay Fan Co., Home Depot's house brand. The Carousel model was a multi-colored rainbow fan designed for children, thus many kids in the 2000's grew up with these in their bedroom. The fan is similar in style to the Farmington and early Huntington models, except with a 3-way spotlight kit, C-blade arms and rounded blade ends. Very unique colorful fan.
I forgot to clarify (although it probably goes without saying) that this is NOT the same one featured in my previous salvage store video. This one came from Marketplace

I grew up with this exact identical 52” Hampton Bay Carousel ceiling fan in my bedroom at my parents’ house and it was purchased at The Home Depot brand new in box and mine was dated
February Of 2001 but the spotlight kit on mine was not on a 3-Way switch on the pull chain, it was just on an on/off all in 1 switch on the pull chain. I did like the one that I had in my bedroom at my parents’ house, but it’s no longer in that bedroom at my parents’ house because it has been replaced by one of the cheap ceiling fans that was bought at Walmart in 2013 but yours is very nice too.

All jokes aside it's a ok fan. This is one I was looking for for awhile. Picked one up on marketplace a few years back. I wanted a rainbow fan in my bedroom and I had it installed for about a year but had to remove it because the motor was so damm loud on mine. Mine was in the box never installed and it does indeed have a trim ring on the canopy.

Yours is slightly different from mine especially since you have a 3 way spotlight on it…mine doesn’t have that feature at all
