  • Putting new piston and rings in a 2007 Dt125x and powervalve and oil pump set. The bike wouldn't start by starter only if bump started then would start all day once the piston had swelled up off the heat

      @@2strokemxclassics yeah be interesting to see the difference it makes, my 99 DT has done just over 6000 miles and hitting 95 PSI on a compression test so good to go for a little longer I hope before a change, when i do will use this video to follow for sure! :-) most of the DT videos online are foreign so hard to understand and translate is crap lol

I ordered new wheel rims and i was going to get the hubs powder coated, as the spokes in the rear wheel were rusted solid i cut them with an angle grinder :(. Can i hell fined the sizes for them anywhere. Is theere any chance you could send me the measurements. I have the front spokes but not the rear.

      It's a sound damper,it gets caked in carbon, if your keepin the standard pipe on take it out

      @2stroke mx classics hi mate its the right cable at the top not the motor the part underneath the fuel tank I see you put the left cable on but then it rotated and you have the right cable on if you understand hard to explan thanks for the reply 👍

      Hi m8 once the left cables in you can rig the motor plug up, then turn your key till the disc spins clockwise. then wen the disc has moved over turn your key off and you'll be able to get the right cable in the disc m8 hope this helps👍

      Hi there it was a customers bike, some ask for dear pistons, gaskets, some ask for the cheaper in my opinion the gaskets from the 60 set with the 2 mains on ebay is just as good as yamaha I've used them years, I just use yamaha gaskets for bikes I'm building and selling as there on vid on here for proof, same with the piston it there in a blue and yellow box it's a hi flo 30 kwid a think yeah m8 it's still running mint av done 3 dtrs on youtube for him he's sold the other 2 but loves his dtx

      @2strokemxclassics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No m8 57 are OK it's normally wen there 57.4 upwards they catch, wen the barrels off ya can take half the powervalve out and put the piston in you'll see if its missing or gonna rub it, or just leave the valve as is and put the new piston in the bore and spin the valve the same time as you move piston up and down bore and yal feel it catching or not
