Towing lawn sweepers, aerators, and small trailers/wagons is a big pro for riding. I have a sun shade on my zero turn which is a huge benefit on 90 degree days.
I am in my 14th season using both a stand-on and a sit-down. I mow both small and large properties and use each mower about equal time throughout the year. I am in my early 70’s and still mowing 400 to 500 hours per year.
I have 48" toro zmaster, and 36 exmark walk behind. I mow both medium to big properties. As well as honda pushmower, and 30inch toro timemaster. Would love to get a grandstand, but if it ain't broke don't fix it I guess🤷🏾
Have both options. I prefer the stand-on, my wife prefers the sit down. For me once seated I go to great lengths to not dismount and get very lazy. When I dismount my knees and back hurt and nearly fall down. Stand-on also has very good 360 visibility and better view of obstructions. Stand-on is generally easier to keep from getting stuck and in most instances easier to get unstuck.
Hey I know you have or had the wright vac bagger system I’m just wondering what blades you ran with it? I have one in my stander zk and it does an awful job picking up leaves, they are always just blowing out the front of the deck no matter how low I have the deck or how slow I drive. If it’s always this bad I’m just gonna sell it lol not worth 4,500$ to me. Thank you
On a riding mower currently so either would be a mega upgrade for me but I plan on saving up this fall and winter to get a stand on I mow a lot of slopes
@@mithgo_outdoor so my area for the longest only had a Toro, Kubota, and a John Deere dealership but just a few months ago the Kubota dealership started carrying scags & Wright mowers I most definitely want to go the Wright way !
We have both stand on andnsit downs. We run wright stand ons from 36 to 72 - 4 mowers in total plus 2 walker ghs 42 and 48 deck sizes along with my wifes walker 52 rd super bee.
Riders are horrible, swamp ass, bouncing to much, way to much dust that comes from the deck onto the rider, can’t use your blower on your back and blow off them long roads, can’t spray weeds on riders, sucks to get off of, there not safe at all, they cost more, I can go on and on and on why I prefer stand ons, only time a rider is nice is in the spring on a smooooth property, my fav mower is 60 inch stand on, toro or scag, I don’t like the scag as much Bc they don’t center there damn decks! I have sooo many years and hours on mower of all types! Great video man!!
Hey Mitchell, love the videos. I have all sit down, mine are yellow but are walkers.lol I have 2 model B's 1 mulch deck and 1 sd deck. I also have a model t for bagging. I would love to see review and walk through on you ryan aerator. Keep up the good work.
Sit down all day 😂 I'm on my feet enough when I hop out, when I trim, and when I clean up. If I need to do trash on commercials, I have a grab stick and bucket and it is SO easy to lean over and pick up reasonably sized trash with the blades still running....and hopping off a sitter isn't that strenuous. Only downside might be the weight, which I'm about to go test ( at quarter to 5pm 🤣 ) after a few days of some on and off rain ....I'd better get at least ONE property done ( and not torn up ) if I'm gonna get caught in the rain after going through the trouble of hooking up my rig.....

Having a choice is nice !

You're right! If it is working for you don't change it.
I have both 36 stander and a 48 and 60 sit down 👍😇
that's awesome!
I'd like to have both. Just have a stander right now
What ZTR do you have your eyes on?!
@@mithgo_outdoor I've got a WSTX 52" right now. I'm probably going to go with the ZXT with the bagger system eventually

I don’t have that problem at all. I use standard lift mowing blades. Not high lift and not gator mulching blades
@@mithgo_outdoor okay well maybe I should tilt my deck? Do you have yours tilted at all? Thanks for the help btw

Really interested in the Wright stander X
@@4SeasonsWithMartin the X is a great mower...at one point I had two of them
Stand on every day. Zero turns are terrible on your back.
Some can be, the ZXT however is not. Some folks can’t stand all day so it’s nice to have the option of available. Thanks for tuning in

Heck of a spread there!!
Well BAsically i want a back up for each so we never impact the customer
@@musimowingmoreinc9031 i was the exact same way when I ran MLC full time. back ups for back ups
And i have sold 3 machine's this season.

I prefer sit-downs I have mostly have sit-downs because I'm my biggest property is 10 acres
they're definitely good for soaking up the acres! Thanks for tuning in!
We do a 6 acre with standers. Sitting is terrible for your back.

You’re correct, a nice long trash grabber can change the dynamic of sitting on a ZTR
home depo mowers are shit made by mtd. go to the dealership.
