Add to that Padim Israel and Willie Generalao who were multiple champions in their days with Tanduay. This was the veterans' last hurrah, so to speak... and it could have never come at a greater time... saving the championsip for their fallen franchise player in a Finals Game 7.
just because the NBA has no defenses at all nowadays, allan is the greatest filipino shooter ever but he has his flaws too with quickness and post defense even if he stood 6 foot 7 he could be a shorter larry bird and would kill the majority of heartless players today including lebron and could very well rival curry and klay with his sniping

I miss the late Smokin' Joe Cantada and Dr. Andy Jao doing the commentary for the PBA. Iba talaga yung outcome and adds to the excitement and fun. Imagine, a team of grizzly veterans from Crispa, Toyota and Tanduay walloped a Jolas and Alvin Patrimonio led Purefoods team for the championship. So surreal yet memorable talaga. 👍☺️

Mai-educate ka pa sa laro.
Could you imagine Purefoods at one point had, Codinera, Patrimonio, Asaytono and Lastimosa? They were really the forced to reckon in the PBA All-Filipino during their early years.
Generelao, Padim and Onchie was with Purefoods during their maiden year but their were not used properly during their stint with the Hotdogs..The 6 Tanduay core players of Fernandez, Hubalde, Yango,Israel ,Generelao and Dela Cruz had a forgettable playing career with the Zobel Franchise due to some factors like the Management favored the Super Rookies ! Codinera,Lastimosa and Patrimonio plus wanting to have the Championship right away
