  • It's Tuesday, which means the truck is off the road. But that doesn't mean we take a day off. There's a lot of prep work that needs to be done on the truck, and that's what in store for the day. After restocking on Acai, Derek takes Josh and Alyssa to get their own Costco cards so they can make trips without Derek. One of the first steps needed to ensure the trucks can run without Derek on them. We also interview two new potential employees on the truck. It's a non-stop grind running the #purpletruck , and you can see it all here on Buoy Vlog 100!
Thank you for watching this video. We hope that you keep up with the videos we post on this channel, subscribe, and share your thoughts with us. Y'all's continued support is our oxygen and we're so very grateful for each of you. Please say hello if you see us out and about around town.--
Buoy Bowls is North Carolina's first acai bowl food truck and was started in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area by local entrepreneur, Derek Sharpe. Derek was born and raised in Apex, NC but moved to Wrightsville Beach, NC after graduating high school. Moving back to Apex in 2015 with his family opened the doors for Derek to pursue his passion for acai, leave the corporate world for good and start Buoy Bowls, aka The Purple Truck. For more on how Derek found, and fell in love with acai please visit our website.
