Mighty Long Fall [Studio Jam Session Vol.2] is an earlier song with a younger Taka, but it's shivers down the spine. ------ I'll leave a fun fact here: OOR started out as a 5 member band and Toru, the guitarist was actually a rhythm guitarist at first, they had a lead guitar player called Alex. he left the band in 2009 due to a controversy (he inappropriately touched the leg of a young woman on a train while drunk -- big nono for artists in Japan to do something like this, OOR's whole career could have gone down the drain, so he left not to pull them down). Toru had to switch to lead guitar and they had to rearrange their older songs accordingly for live shows. For a little while, Ryota contemplated switching to guitar because twin guitars were such an established sound in their earlier career and they were willing to work with a backup bassist (who wouldn't be an official member). but finally they decided against it and that's how the current setup came to be.
Taka has said in an interview that Brendon Urie was at the same studio recording something and came to help them tweak this song. You can really tell the influence.
