Straight, forward and useful. thank you. I noticed things have changed since you made this video and you can connect to the AMI screen directly through AWS now. Is there a benefit to using an SSH client rather than the AWS' online tool?
very much useful. Nice and to the point. I once received an error while connecting. "no supported authentication methods available (server sent publickey gssapi-keyex gssapi-with-mic)". Searched it on google and was able to resolve it after creating the key-pair file with numbers instead of letters (alphabets)
While I ssh in ubuntu instance, I get the following error: failed to connect to changelogs.ubuntu.com/meta-release-lts. check your internet connection or proxy settings
the putty asks me login as , which name should i give , tried to give my local machine username that we have in cmd using whoami , but its not accepting (the putty)
I got the error message using username: "ssh -i "test.pem" ec2-user". Server refused to our key the putty gave the error also no supported authentication methods available (server sent: publickey, gssapi-keyex, gssapi-with-mic)

Great , thanks !!

even when I give path for .ppk file in auth and when I try to connect it asks for login as :
so what needs to be done in order to fix that ?
You need to give ec2-user
Were you able to login ? If not u need to give ec2-user
Yea I realised it later and was able to fix it.
